07/3/2014 18:34 | Many thanks for that. Some fun for the weekend ;-) | cwa1
07/3/2014 18:24 | CWA1, I've sent the link | cockerhoop
07/3/2014 17:54 | With the ampersand replacing the AT! With the commercial 'at' (@) replacing the AT, hopefully! | pvb
07/3/2014 16:13 | Hi CWA1, I don't think i'm comfortable after speaking with Mr Patel to put the link and password on the board but I'm willing to pass details via mail. It'll have to be email though as I don't have messaging rights. I have now waded through the presentation, lots of detail - Graham the new sales director certainly believes the future is Hansard :-) Basically the new strategy is higher volume at lower (front end) margins. Looking to sign major new distribution deals in April in Hong Kong and Middle East - places that Graham clearly has contacts. He still lives and is based in UAE. Lots of detail on problems in Japan. | cockerhoop
07/3/2014 12:23 | I've just contacted the company, spoken to Manoj Patel (Company Secretary) and obtained a link and password to the presentation video. Not seen it yet but it is 90 minutes long so should be reasonably comprehensive. Apparently they had some technical issues earlier in the week so it wasn't immediately available. | cockerhoop
06/3/2014 15:10 | Where? OK. Got it. 11. Other Holdings: Hansard global "Hansard is nimble in its operations and selective in its business. This strategy, together with significant investment in its IT systems has delivered impressive margins, well ahead of its UK and European competitors." Still, how come the earnings and assets under management have steadily declined? In a very favourable investment environment as well. | pvb
06/3/2014 15:08 | HSD mentioned in Crystal Amber's half year report issued today: | simon gordon
06/3/2014 09:13 | Just bought some of these. Chart potentially looking good for a rise to about 103p. RSI just broke 50 on good volume. We shall see. | essential
05/3/2014 09:09 | XD today. Pay day 3/4, fairly quick. Not much effect on the share price Not much to dislike so far today.... | cwa1
04/3/2014 19:58 | I will have a word. I have been accumulating over the years since the change of strategy but they do seem poor at communication these days. Saying that, the yield looks very attractive so I keep buying. | deepvalueinvestor
04/3/2014 16:20 | It was absolutely true Fangorn and that was after I had spoken to two people at Hansard and three at Bell Pottinger. This company desperately needs some good PR and yet they were all clueless. | masurenguy
04/3/2014 14:34 | That's shocking if true Masureguy.... "A webcast of the event will be available to investors by contacting the company." Says this clearly in this mornings RNS. | fangorn2
04/3/2014 13:43 | I spoke to Hansard HO - nobody there was even aware of the webcast and then to Bell Pottinger who didn't have any access details. Therefore I doubt that any PI would have been able to hear it, only institutional holders who probably attended in person. A shambles which doesn't say much for either the competence or the credibility of management ! | masurenguy
04/3/2014 13:02 | Some buying creeping in after the presentation, I guess it was well received was anyone there to hear it? | envirovision
04/3/2014 10:04 | Currently flirting with their all time 7 year low seen in January this year. Interesting to see whether todays webcast can provide a convincing case that management have a credible plan to turn this business around. | masurenguy
04/3/2014 08:59 | I bought a few more yesterday at 85.3, seemed a reasonable report to me, slight increase in the interim divi so hopefully the final is fairly secure adding up to a very good yield. | soi
04/3/2014 07:17 | Hansard Global plc, ("Hansard" or "the Group") the specialist long-term savings provider, today hosts a presentation from 11:30am (GMT) in London, when the senior management team will present the H1 2014 results, together with the results of the review of the Group's new business strategy. Hansard issued its results for the six months ended 31 December 2013 on 27 February 2014 and this presentation will include no new material information. A webcast of the event will be available to investors by contacting the company. | skinny
28/2/2014 16:27 | Edging up. Dividend announcement; | hugepants
27/2/2014 09:17 | Pretty much as expected. IFRS profit up (even more so if £1.1m one off costs excluded) and more than covering increased dividend. Cash also up after paying final dividend. Down sides are poor new sales (already flagged) and slight fall in AuM. Hopefully we'll see some good news on 4 March about reversing these. | stemis
27/2/2014 09:11 | I read the statements as positive | solarno lopez
27/2/2014 09:09 | Looks like a turning point in the companies fortunes to me, the old mans holding should ensure the company continues to pay out a juicy dividend under the new CEO, the increased interim affirming this. I have decided to add. | envirovision

26/2/2014 21:05 | Interesting to see value fund with a good reputation adding to pass the 3% mark. Now tempted to add aswell. | deepvalueinvestor |
