"Thank you for your question and continuing support. The language in the press release referred to a number of redundancy measures following the personnel and all vendors reviews in the UK office of the Company.

The new management is committed to turning HMB into a world class mining company and this means being listed in the UK.

Kind regards,

Bogdan Poustovoi

I know I am always the first to say that POG does not affect Miners' share prices, but I cannot help noticing that Gold is in freefall.......

Hi Inferno.
I think we have some seriously smart guys now running this company. I am glad I stuck with it, and I have a feeling that they allowed the Akmola option to expire so that they cous have a second go at it from the start. Got to get back the money Daffern "gave" them somehow.

" monies already advanced to Akmola Gold and the vendors."That bit really looks not too smart though, as was cautioned by many posters on here at the time. Can't blame the current crew for that though. If they couldn't get the purchase through at the initial price, it would seem unlikely a lower offer would do it, but Kazakhstan is a funny place so who knows. Now the price is close to 1p, I wonder how many of the stragglers would accept 2p should the major shareholder make a second offer for shares.

"Hambledon discussing a restructuring of the Akmola acquisition"....does that mean the termination was simply a matter of time running out on the offer, and now they are thinking of making a lower offer?
That sounds very smart, if I am correct.
PS Could we go back to one BB, please?

None too soon for CZ. I bet our new friend Bogdan is not being paid nearly as much. Cannot see why anyone is worrying about cutting UK overhead......I read the RNS and my immediate feeling was that it was a very good thing.
I am very impressed by both the clear tone and directness of information, and also by the results.
Hooray, what a pleasant change.

Totally agree that the phrase "reduction of corporate overheads in the uk"
tagged on the end has wrecked an otherwise damn good RNS.

My hunch is what they may mean is just trimming nomad fees etc, but unfortunately I think alot of people may read into it something more ominous such as not keeping to the requirement to keep listed in the uk etc. when they may not have meant to give that impression at all.

Without that I think share price would have motored, noticeable how they seem to be gradually sorting out that gibbering moron Daffern's mess.

"many of the benefits have already materialized and are reflected in the companies' results and improvements in its financial health and cash generation".

Yep, all good news and I like the moderated language around the potential reduction in the tailings dam fine.

Not quite sure where all the money's coming from for capex but assume it is from cash generated from the sale of the gold.

I would have expected to see a reaction in the share price but early days yet I guess.

Very good news, u/g underway again and recoveries vastly improved. Only cause of concern is "reduction of corporate overheads in the uk" !!!!!

Very positive RNS - the new management have achieved a great deal in 3+-months
The stated aim and ethos is encouraging and they certainly appear to know what they are doing in a no-nonsense way. This latter point backed by results to date.
IMO this Company now has some serious potential - subject to a reasonable gold price
Time will tell.

I see the acquisition of Akmola bit the dust:

"
ACQUISITIONS AND AKMOLA GOLD

The Company continues to examine a number of acquisitions and other inorganic growth opportunities. These are at very early stages and at the present the principal focus remains improvement and growth in the current operations.

The vendors of the Akmola Gold deposit have given the Company notice of termination and Hambledon is discussing a potential restructuring of the Akmola Gold acquisition which will take into account changed market conditions as well the monies already advanced to Akmola Gold and the vendors.
"

Probably a good thing too.

Overall that looks a pretty good quarter for the new management team.

Good to see they have ramped up exploration efforts and have re-started work on the underground.
