You would think with an ageing motor fleet, with the absence of new cars this has to bode well for Halfords I keep buying at this level, hopefully decent results next week.

Think this is going to struggle for a bit and the next update may well show the impact from supply issues. I'll be looking at possibly getting in here anywhere under £2.50 but it could go lower. Then again who knows :-)

Struggling to maintain momentum, i feel this is the low however and a nice rally in the last quarter of the year is to me more likely than further falls cheers

They've stopped talking about this situation on the news now

because the media who created this mess, know exactly who caused it

I would imagine the government have told them to shut it

Bicycle sales in London must be going ballistic right now

London is currently grid locked by people queuing for fuel or driving around looking for it

Bus journeys in London that previously took 10 minutes can now take up to 2 hours, assuming the bus driver has not been told to do a U-turn and go back (which happens regularly at the moment)

Just topped up. A changing company IMO. I like the growth potential of the motoring business. Last year management were quite negative then they produced nearly 100m. Well oversold on RSI.

"Our motoring business now represents 65% of our revenues and continues to go from strength to strength, driven by the increased scale of our Autocentres business, the ongoing demand for our Halfords Mobile Expert Vans, and by recent staycation trends".

DYOR... stay lucky

Are we going to return to the heady days of £5+ here? Everywhere I look, I see people on electric scooters and bikes. Plus more secondhand cars are being kept on the road because of the new car shortage, so the autocentres should come into their own. What could go wrong?
