Nice rise here. AA is only starting and should benefit from the recent changes as Halfords :)) back to work but best to travel on your bike or private car.

Rush to buy cycling company shares on Monday then. Apart from Tandem plc and Halfords which other companies with a major bike business are there.

Government investing a massive 2 billion to help cycling/walking to work. Want to double number of cycling trips in the next 5 years. National cycling plan to be unveiled in June. Subsidising bike purchases. There is going to great a boom in cycling starting straight away. I think it will be a question of trying to meet demand that will be a limiting factor rather than demand itself.

massive boost in cycling from government, anybody would think that folks knew this announcement was coming 3 days ago. Somebody tipped somebody off, look at the volume earlier this week!

I bought an electric bike from Halfords last Friday happy with it, without exaggeration I waited in a queue for 30 minutes to pick the bike up and I saw 4 people picking up bikes and still massive queuing when I left

In fact given that profits at upper end they must have had a very strong finish to the year.

Pe ratio of 5 seems a bit low to me. I would imagine after lockdown expires people are going to avoid public transport and use their cars more rather than buying new vehicles. Also bike market doing well.

Having bought these in early April to reach the target total of shares I had set out to achieve, due to the suspension of the dividend I am seriously considering taking a good profit and reinvesting it in BP or GSK.
