While I think about it....M&S are most probably worth shorting based on the assumption that she will f;uck up there too!!!

So, it is evident that the Burger Flipper f;ucked up then f;ucked off!

I'm going to be arrogant enough to say I thought that was the case.

HFD are sitting on a huge potential with e-bikes.

Last year a Whyte e-bike 2017 model cost circa £1750. The 2018 model - pretty much identical with a few cosmetic changes now costs circa £2350!!!

Clearly they can't make 'em fast enough and are taking advantage of a sellers market by hiking their profit margin!

The potential market is huge with the UK lagging far behind the continentals. A recent report said there were currently 50,000 e-bikes in the UK and within 3-4 years they estimate 2-3 million. And they ain't cheap.

HFD should be a good 'buy' when GrahamStapleton has got things back on track after the fiasco of the last CEO! Who the Hell thought of appointing her in the first place? Bonkers!

surprised at the 10%, especially as the results are in line. We're they expecting some hidden bonanza within 4 months of a new boss??

Certainly not a bumper set of results, but at least no need for any kitchen sink to be thrown in by the new boss.
Steady as she goes, but I'm expecting a drop off this morning.

The customer foot fall index for the uk was 3.3% down last month. If halfords can show they have increased sales and footfall in difference to the rest of the retail sector than they will be miles ahead of other uk retailers.I see a buy rerating with a 5 pounds target price vey soon.

Halfords have launched a good range of electric bikes in store and on the web.I'm sure they are doing well. All halfords stores as far as i'm aware have a fully trained and qualified specialist mechanic. It should be a good earner for them imo.Think this will break £4 pounds rather quickly.
