04/1/2018 19:32 | What we really need now to propel the share price up and beyond £10 is a very good trading update which, if previous years are anything to go by, will be within the next ten days. | mylands
04/1/2018 18:35 | Seems to be pinging up on relatively small volume but essentially in sympathy with Lads. As Festario says cant argue with the market, but I'm surprised it's risen quite as much as it has over the past couple of days. Surprised but not disappointed! | noujay
04/1/2018 18:09 | Nice one, Roger, it's never wrong to take a profit! Well done. | woodhawk
04/1/2018 17:44 | Well i sold 50% of my holding after 4 years. Thanks GVC for fantastic run & I hope remaining holding will triple. | oohrogerpalmer
04/1/2018 17:40 | But it never closed at that price Fizzy. Geddit?Coxsmn, I've always been delighted with this share, by far the best I've ever owned. I have a few concerns over the LCL deal, but I can't argue with the market. | festario
04/1/2018 17:24 | The ATH remains as 992.50p achieved in the latter part of Dec 2017 as recorded on Google Finance for the last 52 week period. But L2 today may differ as I don't have access. | fizzypop
04/1/2018 17:12 | Festario, are you feeling a bit happier now, gvc is a share to keep. | coxsmn
04/1/2018 16:50 | You could be right . | redips2
04/1/2018 16:48 | A new all time high closing price.4 figures beckons! | festario
04/1/2018 15:06 | It's hard to figure, but Marshall Wace seem to be closing and opening short positions in equal measure! | festario
04/1/2018 13:16 | A 90k sell caused a sharp dip in the share price at just after 1pm. | festario
04/1/2018 08:31 | Mylands thanks for the work on highlighting the institutional holdings. Just a thought, is it possible that these are not all new purchases by the institutions but instead are disclosures that did not need to be made before the announcement of the LCL deal? | brownie69
04/1/2018 00:40 | TEB,With a GVC/LCL combined Market Cap of 6.41 Billion,then sure FTSE 100. | garycook
03/1/2018 17:50 | @speedsgh, thanks! | andyj56
03/1/2018 16:16 | Shows the power of a strong recommendation Still not sure if will move straight into the FTSE - will mean all the big institutions having to take a piece of it | trentendboy
03/1/2018 16:14 | 1000p tomorrow? | festario
03/1/2018 15:04 | Is MW running for the hills? | srpactive
03/1/2018 15:00 | Can anyone please answer this for me as I cannot remember the last word, New highs just go ...... | srpactive
03/1/2018 13:49 | @AndyJ56 - Final Results are scheduled for 5/3 so at a guess the final dividend of "no more than €0.175" will be payable in April/May (or earlier in the form of a Special Dividend if the Effective Date of the proposed LCL deal occurs before the announcement of a final dividend by GVC). | speedsgh
03/1/2018 13:37 | Taking the latest Form 8.3 notices into account, institutional support for GVC now exceeds 84%. | mylands
03/1/2018 10:33 | Any idea when the next dividend payment is? | andyj56
03/1/2018 09:48 | I have some drying paint to keep an eye on. | popper joe
03/1/2018 09:30 | Popper Joe As you came up with the idea may I suggest you trawl through dozens of Form 8.3 announcements since December 6th and come up with the answer! Seriously, I have noticed that many of GVC Form 8.3 announcements show that they also have an interest in LCL. What proportion of those announcements I don't know, or what size their interest is in LCL. | mylands
03/1/2018 08:32 | It would be interesting to know what proportion of LCL is held by institutions and if they are the same institutions that are holding GVC. Will some of these institutions have to reduce their holdings once the deal is complete to comply with their own investment rules? That's your next challenge Mylands! | popper joe |
