Highly satisfactory with double digit increases across the board in constant currency for Q2 KPIs. No divi announcement no surprise.

A day early!

The momentum is maintained and I like the sports margin rising to over 10%.

No special div but then that was asking too much having just received the last one in May.

Onward and upwards.

Very strong performance in the underlying business when you take out the exceptional events, and beating last year numbers even including the euros is positive. Bodes for an exciting 2018 particularly with some of the new marketing aspects they are bringing re World Cup.We can expect return to dividend shortly given it's in line with expectations.Obviously no special dividend this time around but I wonder if the reiteration of their acquisitive intent may be related to that in terms of keeping powder dry.Anyway seems a very good place to be IMO

Interesting to see that Peel come out with a 1,000p target price and the share price falls and then Barenberg up their TP by 20p to 920p and the share price reacts positively!

Not a bad memory, as I knew the fact the note was issued and mentioned in post 26595 but this did not provide the note just a headline that Peel were covering GVC with a TP of 1,000p. Has anyone got a copy of the WHOLE note?

If you are right why then did they reduce their exposure at the end of June?

Have others noticed how 888 has been sinking? Now down 16% from the high of 300p in early May. Over the same period we are unchanged.

We should have moved from a net debt situation in Dec 2016 to a net cash position. It would be useful to have a net cash statement in the trading update please as this would also give an idea of how successful the business has been since Dec 2016.

Great - news only 3 days away.

Personally I dont think there will be a special dividend as the company will want to keep its powder dry for the 2 real dividends later in this (financial) year.

The bigger the real dividends, the greater the official yield, the more investors you will attract, the higher the share price Thats my logic.

Of course, I was wrong last time (didnt expect a second special dividend)
Of course, I was wrong the time before that (didnt expect the first special dividend).
Third time lucky? Or not?
