Stuff the divi as long as cash is reinvested where it pays...!

The capital gain on GVC should be incentive enough, it is for me as a LTBH,

but if you're cashflow sensitive I suggest you sell just a few shares instead;
the capital gain on shares kept will make up for the numbers sold (if at all worthwhile) & IMO the capital value of your holding will rise regardless.

Anyways that was the last of it all on the subject gents as you will always have the ignorant and arrogant ones around so good luck all holders. GVC is and will remain on fire for a good while - odds are firmly stacked on the long side.

So much for the US waking up after lunch, perhaps they are just slow on the draw!

tongosti - you didnt say whether you were part of the 90% or 10%.

Obviously the maths is in favour of the 90%.

Good Luck anyway.

King of sportsbooks is an odd strapline for the US, particularly given one of their main competitors has king in its brand name.

Of course I'm sure the traders on here are the small minority who make money but I suspect that the percentage of losing traders is up near 90%.
Plenty of copper coins soon trade into large losses for most.

Personally I like to buy and hold while monitoring my investments - leaves loads of time for other things - like enjoying myself.

Still have my shares from 106p. Its been a good ride so far and I dont see why £20+ isnt possible in less than 5 years.

Good luck to all holders and especially traders who really need that luck.

Both, IF there's something I want I either throw in more cash or sell a dead loss.
I also have ring fenced holdings which are currently sitting on big losses but I'm confident they will pay off eventually.
Not sure where GVC fits in, time will tell :)

Do you hold onto losers until they turn good, or do you take small losses too?

I'm at 600 trades a year, no trading costs other than tax atm so that rate has increased.

Hmmm... that would depend on how one goes about the game wouldn't it. If you trade 400-500 times per annum then plenty of copper coins convert into serious pounds. That's one's game. However, most people would be lucky to trade 5 or 6 good ideas per annum in which case what you're saying will hold as true.

My timescale is how long it will take to spin the US side off
on the Nasdaq.

Well 6 -12mths as mylands states I am repetitive so higher.

I feel we will be rewarded a dividend by then and also a special
to cover the lost ones.

I have my hgm war chest coming in soon, so some will go in here.
