Update on Sunshine Minerals transaction
Gunsynd Plc (AIM: GUN, NEX: GUN) has been informed that Metminco has withdrawn from the transaction to acquire Sunshine Minerals which was announced on 19 September 2018, because, although Metminco still regarded the project as attractive, it was unable to complete due diligence to its satisfaction.
Hamish Harris, Executive Chairman, commented: "This is disappointing but we note that the nickel price has dropped a bit since the transaction was announced. We expect that discussions with other potentially interested parties will take place shortly."
