30/3/2017 15:29 | ZEN CEO is talking about a target price of £1 on TipTV. | bobby.ifa
30/3/2017 15:28 | gun wants out of zen in total. When zen publishes results / upgrades and the price moves up, gun will sell the lot I think. At a good profit of course. Some sort of dispute between the two it seems. Not a problem for investors.... | barnetpeter
30/3/2017 14:06 | GUN holds ALBA not ANGS. | cottoner

30/3/2017 09:20 | New technical (non exec) director appointment to support GUN oil & Gas strategy: Appointment of Director The board of Gunsynd is pleased to announce the appointment of David Ormerod as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. David is an experienced oil and gas professional who has been involved in public companies at a management and board level for thirty years. He has experience with operations in Africa, Asia, US, South America and Australia where he has been involved in business development, initial drilling through to field development. He is a member of the AAPG, SEG and a fellow of the Royal Geological Society. He adds technical governance and strategy at a critical time in the development of the company. Hamish Harris, Gunsynd Executive Chairman, commented: "This is a very significant appointment for the Company with regard to its oil and gas strategy. David Ormerod brings not only a wealth of technical expertise but just as importantly experience in dealing with licence acquisitions at a government level. This appointment greatly enhances the ability of Gunsynd to being able to not only find but pursue oil and gas deals at a direct working interest level". Other than that as set out below, there are no other matters that are required to be disclosed under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules in relation to the appointment of David Scott Ormerod aged 53 | scotty666
29/3/2017 10:22 | Pleased to hear it firw00d. I emailed LSE yesterday and they are developing a new website but I won't be using the current one. Not a patch on Advfn for ease of use. | dr jekyll
28/3/2017 20:57 | FYI folks the news emails received today came through in better time from ADVFN. Thanks again. Firwood | firw00d
28/3/2017 10:39 | I looked at LSE yesterday (not for the first time) and I agree scotty. The format is poor. You cannot even keep a list of favourite threads. Advfn has deteriorated with too many poor posters and I have had to resort to the filter button after a long time of not using it. I was surprised how effective it was in filtering out the crude and stupid posts so will be using it more if necessary. Format is much better here and easier to follow what is said on threads not all of which are poor. | dr jekyll
27/3/2017 22:49 | Format of LSE sucks though and from what I understand moderation is based on the number of posters voting down an opinion (but maybe wrong). Solution here is to filter people just out to make trouble. Anyway another RNS today confirming the recent ZEN sale plus a few ALBA, clearly positioning for the next investment, plus good news on the Tungsten asset output. Good luck | scotty666
27/3/2017 08:26 | It's cesspit on Advfn, with no moderation. LSE more informed & moderated. | bobby.ifa
24/3/2017 20:26 | Thanks guys, I hadn't set up alerts here as i thought other peoples experiences might save me the bother if they were not up to scratch, I will set up now and see how things go, I do like HL's system so dont mind paying the premium to use them, Also i find LSE really useful if you can put up with some of the disgraceful folks on there. I havn't really warmed to ADVFN as yet, I will make more of an effort to make friends with it. Thanks again for taking the time to reply. . . Best of luck !! Firwood | firw00d
24/3/2017 09:23 | firw00d, rns's seem to appear on my advfn monitor in real time. No slower than emails from elsewhere which I now don't use anyway. HL are easily the best broker around imho. They also appear at the top of the threads here. Hope that helps? | dr jekyll
24/3/2017 08:35 | Without stating the obvious have you tried setting the alert via this website? I received both GUN RNS alerts in my mailbox yesterday more or less real time. | scotty666
23/3/2017 22:19 | Cash in hand, Loads of shares still in ZEN, Shrewd investing this last week in my limited knowledge of things, Had a nice little result today profits which will go into GUN in the morning, Possibly should have stayed put but its not profit until its in my account, Maybe that's why the market is not putting us where many are saying we should be, Ah well. . more time to collect funds and top up i suppose. Can someone help a fledgling out with something please ? I use HL and LSE for RNS updates, Neither of them alerted me to the ZEN holdings news today, (neither GUN nor ZEN have this news on their sites at the time of writing) I have looked at rnsalerts.com and various other sites including this one, Thing is i don't mind paying for a service but i would like it to work. HL sent me an alert at 8.52am the other day that LSE had sent me at 7.07am, so am aware HL can be sluggish, Also i have noted some RNS items have not shown up at all on LSE. So, a few suggestions i can go and research would be appreciated, Firwood | firw00d
