I have very big (for me) holdings in GMS. One of the reasons I like the share is that it lacks volatility, was and still is too cheap in sp, and is quietly slowly but surely recovering. The kind of share you can make a great deal of money on...... GLA :-)

The offshore turbine business has not really taken off globally ; if it steps up in the political agenda could be a solid market. Not sure the Gulf will be the place though!
The underwater turbines could be a bigger business if the technology can improve enough.
Good for GMS to have some renewable exposure.

As important they are a) for wind power, and b) Europe, so diversified from ME focussed O&G.

This morning's news about two decent contracts should further underpin the gradual recovery in GMS share price.

Barclays raised their target price last week for GMS from 72p to 85p.

Their forecasts are;

2018 EPS 13c (10.4p) and PE 6.7 at 70p price

2109 EPS 20c (16p) and PE 4.4 at 70p price.

Most of GMS's business is related to opex work rather than capex so it's less vulnerable to exploration spend.

All in all, its a very attractive medium term recovery prospect with significant upside 100p/120p.

a) nothing to worry about. b) good visibility for this year. c) dividend. d) reasonably positive current and forward guidance. e) guidance on debt profile. f) high fleet utilisation in comparison with many hardware operators.
