It's interesting that the all knowing ;) PUTUP on LSE has an expectation that they will pay back the bond. That possible, but would distort the capital structure even further in favour of equity over debt I guess if they have an agreed deal incoming it might make sense as it would add effectively another 40p to shareholders. Not as concentrative however as a pre agreed buyback using more debt...Perella have some of the best corporate financial engineers on planet, so well above my pay grade, but I'd expect when the designed the weird restructuring, they would have designed the exit strategy too.

Really hope they address and reveal plan for optimal capital structure, it's very important,as it would boost dividends and any sale profits.

I think gkp sensitivity to POO varies a lot , unpredictable.I reckon the mkt prob expects v good update and the trading side of the mkt pressing to scoop stock prior to ops tomorrow, to offload on any spike.

Nope. They're trying to copy what's happening here. Force it down, load up and wait for the rebound.

oil down 6% yesterday today 2% already. What do we expect? Are all the oil traders just trying to keep GKP down. 👀

Dunno whether to sell all the rest of my oilers, keep half my pf in cash and double up here. I'd have more than enough income from these divs and keep a lot of dry powder.Decisions, eh.

ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) lawsuit against several federal Oil Ministry leaders was delayed Tuesday - the latest development in a series of legal battles over the implementation of February's landmark court decision against Kurdistan's oil sector.Tuesday's hearing at the Erbil Court of Criminal Investigation was postponed because the defendants, including Oil Minister Ihsan Ismaael, did not show up, according to a legal official familiar with the proceedings. The next hearing is scheduled for July 4........lol

As a small investor with my retirement savings riding on GWP, can someone, perhaps Mr Steephill Cove, advise me and others, why are the shares languishing way down what I paid for them?

Is it because of a possible blacklisting or the risk of a takeover?. I am losing weight over the last few days. Good news though due for dividend payments on 15th July, a total of 30.6p!

John Stafford (GKP); John C Lorenz & Scott P Cooper (Fracture Studies LLC) also said in their PowerPoint presentation to the AAPG that Shaikan was a 29km x 10km fold trap with 9 BILLION BARRELS OF OIL IN PLACE & fractures are abundant, open & effective, with intense fracturing in the Alan & Mus formations 🚂📈🏁🏆 8077;💪

I also remember John Stafford ( I think) telling us about 6-7 years ago that it would take another 5 years to determine the actual size of Shaikan.

From memory GKP said initially that they would get to full production with 132 wells , they then changed their minds as the radial test showed all the wells were connected . The total required went down to 32 wells . I imagine this is just the Jurassic they were talking about.
