If Iraq fails to honour the IOC contracts Sudani can kiss goodbye to his international investment initiative. All his MoUs will just be worthless pieces of paper. There is a lot of pressure for Sudani to make this work, including the prevention of the break up of Iraq.

My impression for what it's worth is that they can amend it or face KRG going it alone. With the backing of the US and Turkey. My preference would be for the latter.

Amendment to the current Iraqi budget was promised upon Sudani's return from the US. The nature of these amendments is crucial for the KRG IOC contracts. Let's wait and see what transpires.

ICG are not that stupid to cut off a couple of limbs which is what they'd be doing falling out completely with the Kurds . They are having trouble with Basra as it is. The egos at ICG are going to have to make a dignified retreat imo.

This one for tanker ted.
Had stopped looking at marine traffic for tanker activity at Ceyhan but clicked on site quite often over the last 3 or 4 days and don't think I've seen a tanker loading at Baku jetty.
There are 6 Cey/Bot tankers in the bay, normally they're loading every day, sometimes 2 at a time on that other jetty.

So the City have been hoovering them up for 8 years?? Pure lies, no one has or needs to. Strange as it may seem but no one would make any offer until they can see what the new terms and conditions are. Even then its highly unlikely unless for a fire sale amount. Consolidation much more likely to share the costs.

With the scenario of the ITP agreement expiring in 18 months and/or KRG going it alone with Turkey (assured 100% by legal and international legitimcy) then or in the meantime; perhaps consider this an 18-24 month investment with 10x + upside...
