I got a call from Charles Stanley Direct today saying the market maker for GKP had been complaining about my share trades and it was about to damage the relationship between their two companies. I currently hold about 900k gbp of the share and have been trading 10k tranches. I told them to put their complaint in writing and within a minute the share price plunged. I have complained to investor relations and will contact the FSA. This was around 3.30 today. I do not trust the market maker who according to my broker is throwing their weight around.

Had anyone else been intimidated by their share trading broker on this share? I had a call from Charles Stanley Direct just now saying that the market maker for GKP was upset that I frequently trade this share and zi am 'upsetting relations'. I don't understand this as I am simply buying and selling according to my sentiment. I have complained to investor relations as I view this as intimidation. I hold 900k value so I wonder if I am viewed as an obstacle to a takeover?

1 One off CEO bonus if he stays another 6 months
= retention incentive to ensure buyer keeps key man through handover
2 all staff to get rewarded but staged so they dont run away
3 stabilisation so bad actors can't smash share price prior announcement
