07/6/2023 10:41 | They work for others numpty.....Likely instructed EXXON's investment bankers....As they are both US based hedge Algo outfits....So it's rather obvious we have a hostile attempt building by creeping takeover, with at least 2 IOC players ..?A bid this week HIGHLY LIKELY | boomshakalacka
07/6/2023 10:36 | Look ?fella? lol.Or numpty as I prefer The shorts are borrowed stock to try and restrain the share price Since Citadel increased their short , share price gone up..HOSTILE BID HIGHLY LIKELY PRE AGM SPECIAL RESOLUTION VOTE | boomshakalacka
07/6/2023 10:36 | 30% in one entity = mandatory bid..From LSE:Tolga Bilgin (49) and Hassan Gozal (49) both went to Bilkent University, same course / same time - Friends ? Business collaborators ? MmmmmmHG - 17% ownership, TB - c25% ownership, Turkey Bank - 20% (shares held by HG/TB ? Or by other contenders like Vidat Bilgin (TB uncle)So in reality 62% minimum of Genel is owned by small group of individuals and two of them HG/TB seem to be like Siamese twins. So anybody out there - what are the rules and thresholds for LSE companies and when do people need to make an offer - as to me there looks to be a low ball buyout of Genel ongoing - with a little help from Turkish Government, extending pipeline shut-in gives them longer to acquire even more on the cheapAll the above just summations 2+2 and all that can be anything but seems to smell like 4 to me !!!! | boomshakalacka

07/6/2023 09:22 | Ambiguity still shrouds the share of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in the Iraqi budget and the details of the final agreements on this matter. Despite this uncertainty, the Iraqi Parliament is preparing to vote tomorrow on the proposed budget for fiscal years 2023 to 2025. A segment of Iraqi MPs have voiced dissatisfaction over perceived opacity in the agreements between the KRG and the Iraqi government, while others argue that no changes have been made to the Finance Committee's amendments. We'll be keeping you updated on the budget discussions in Baghdad and the Kurdistan region. Today's cabinet meeting will see the KRG discussing this issue, with the KRG Minister of Finance revealing that negotiations with Baghdad are ongoing. Over the past two days, the Deputy KRG PM has expressed unease about the political climate in the Kurdistan Region. This concern could hint at a brewing political standoff between the PUK and KDP, particularly given their ongoing disagreements over the KRG's share in the Iraqi Budget, as well as internal security issues. Despite these concerns, the Deputy PM, known for his more conciliatory stance compared to his brother, Bafel Talabani, the PUK leader, is expected to attend today’s cabinet meeting. | nufc9
07/6/2023 09:21 | Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani recently stated that the suspension of oil exports from the KRG and Kirkuk through Turkey is expected to be resolved soon. A delegation from Turkey is anticipated to facilitate the resolution, amid reports that the pipeline was damaged due to earthquakes. In an interview with Rudaw, Abdul Ghani revealed that an initial agreement had been reached with the KRG, allowing Iraq's State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) to manage the export contracts. He indicated that ongoing discussions with the Turkish authorities aimed to resolve the pipeline issues swiftly. One of the critical disagreements between the KRG and Baghdad relates to their contracts with oil companies. To address this, a committee comprised of representatives from both parties is examining the contracts. Despite ongoing negotiations, SOMO will export KRG's oil at the same price as Iraqi oil in the international markets. Changes to contracts may be made based on mutual agreement and in accordance with the Iraqi constitution. | nufc9
