Urchin - this is tongue in cheek for Condog - but takeover is very close imo - the bond redemption and new NED in particular are the clues.

and yet you value the field at £2 per share when we have had about £1 in dividends over the last 12 months...

Except I didn't know that it takes tens of millions to develop the field drill new wells and increase production and that a company that is on the verge of liquidation because it's been paid almost nothing for two years and is $600 million in debt won't have the money to do any of that.

Oh, and don't be fooled by the company saying that we're producing 45,900bpd and being paid $50 million a month, because "All the wells have failed."

The share price is holding rather well considering the BoE has hiked the interest rate up.
Inflation off to 13% reckoned by the "experts".

The OP has to drop materially because as I keep telling you sufficient oil is getting to the market even though there are sanctions. The OP is fake and its been hiked up in order for those with vested interests to claw back their losses due to the two year Chinese pandemic.

Saudi Arabia raised oil prices for buyers in Asia to record levels, a sign the world’s largest exporter sees the region’s market remaining tight.

Despite indications that slowing economies are starting to hit global demand for crude, state producer Saudi Aramco increased its Arab Light grade for next month’s shipments to Asian refineries to $9.80 a barrel above the Middle Eastern benchmark. That’s 50 cents than in August.

Still, traders and refiners had expected a bigger jump of $1.50, according to a Bloomberg survey in late July. That was before data emerged this week showing that Americans are driving less than they did in the summer of 2020, when pandemic travel curbs all but halted movement.

Aramco also increased all US grades, with prices for the region going up by 50 cents a barrel. It was the first change Aramco has made for American customers since May.

For Europe, the company lowered light crude varieties and raised medium and heavy types.
