Just written to Aaran at GKP IR, suggesting a monhtly dividend now that they are debt free.

Its a very different & attractive GKP today, totally debt free & a huge cash cow 💰🐄

Well done all PIs who have remained here to the very end for the final takeover share price which now looks very close indeed.

It may be a good thing for GKP to adopt the same as I3E......and that is paying a regular monthly dividend.

I3E is very good in that respect and I like the monthly cash coming in. Currently 2 million I3E shares give you 2800 pounds per month dividend income.

Just had their latest divi news today.



Now that GKP is debt free......why not lets be having a regular monthly divi.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum to tender second drill rig at Shaikan field

RIYADH: Gulf Keystone Petroleum is preparing to invite bids for a second drilling rig at its operations in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Jon Harris, CEO of the Bermuda-based oil and gas exploration company, confirmed the plans as part of a drive to ramp up production in the Shaikan field area of the country.

“We are extending some contracts and are going out to bid for a range of items,” said Harris, according to MEED.

Gulf Keystone is tendering oil field equipment, including downhole equipment, trees, tubular casing, and water handling units.

The company had recently submitted its field development plan to Iraqi Kurdistan’s Ministry of Natural Resources and is currently waiting for approval.

Harris added that the company is also expanding the existing processing facilities, which include installing water and salt handling units to remove impurities from the produced oil.

He said: “We produce a very small amount of water, and when the oil is processed and heated, the water evaporates, leaving salt in the oil.

“The new units will wash out that salt so that the oil can be sold to buyers.

“We are in the process of tendering for these water washing and salt handling units at the moment.”

While I didn't know OAP but he was clearly a genuine and a helpful chap , since GKP has been through the mill these long and strongs meant all the more to fellow PIs. He is now free of the stress and pressures of it all ,what a shame he didn't reach that ribbon . RIP OAP.

I can't believe that news, so sorry for P2 and his family. The only solace I can find is that he saw the resurgence of GKP and the landmark dividends. I had the occasional DM from him and always rated him one of the Good Guys.

He made a genuinely useful daily contribution which I always read.

Thanks for letting us know Jamesiebaby, and sincerely hope his family receive all the benefits that Pensioner2 deserved and worked so hard for.
