The desperate ramping suckers here link absolutely everything to them. They've been desperately hoping/begging for someone/anyone to buy the company and relieve them of their misery for 10 years.

SHAMARAN big rumour last September ish that several parties interested in buying.Also been rumoured previously that SHAMARAN+ GKP might get swallowed together.Also SINOPEC Bloomberg said had approached GKP ,own ADDAX.These 3 for some reason were selected for a delayed appearance at Baghdad court.Tomorrow, after all other peers already put on naughty step.

ShaMaran has now signed the relevant document relating to the approval by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) of this transaction and ShaMaran looks forward to the signing in due course of the relevant documents by the other parties, including the KRG.

It looks to me like long term holders are getting a good deal at the moment.

The share price is 'dropping' just in time for every divi reinvestment.

The KRG will be big GKP shareholders .........;)

Iraq better not p*ss of Biden. They need ~ $70 billion for war reparations and damage and it has been provisionally promised by him. They wont get that from Iran and the Chinese would impose "conditions (assuming they would give it of course) Much easier to do the "deal" with the KRG I would have thought.

I agree. It's very odd. I'm also convinced that the way our share price has been drilled down, there is something in the offing. Those that know get to the trough first. Next week is going to be very interesting

I'm just wondering why these particular 3 have been split out for separate hearing?And they are the China owned or China linked outfits.If Baghdad court says ...legal...that is rubber stamp for M and A...

Possibly. I read other reports of Iraq backtracking and not wanting to be so dependent upon China. Maybe they realise they will lose substantial financial support from the US.
