17/6/2019 13:17 | Gov formation going smoothly. PUK Committed to Political Agreements with KDP: PM-Deisgnate Masrour Barzani BasNews 17/06/2019 - 13:40 Published in Kurdistan PUK Committed to Political Agreements with KDP: PM-Deisgnate Masrour Barzani Tagged under en ERBIL - The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will stay committed to its political agreements with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) regarding its posts in the new government, Kurdistan Region PM-designate Masrour Barzani said on Monday after a meeting with the PUK. Barzani arrived at the PUK headquarters earlier the day for talks on the formation of the new cabinet. He is expected to meet with the other parties, including Change Movement (Gorran), during his stay in the province. Concerning his meeting with the party, Barzani told reporters that they want the sides to offer the CVs of their candidates for the posts in the future Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) so that they would be forwarded to the parliament. Asked if the PUK would join the opposition if it doesn't receive the post of Kirkuk governor, the PM-designate noted that "no, the PUK has not made any of such statements, our friends from the PUK are committed to the agreements, our duty is to form the new cabinet and we are waiting for the PUK to send the CVs of its nominees." Meanwhile, Imad Ahmed, a PUK politburo and head of the party's delegation, confirmed Barzani's remarks and said that "we have a number of agreements with the KDP and we are determined to implement them." "We are a true partner, and this is not our first time, we have participated in the government several times before. We hope this cabinet will resolve the remaining issues. It is our, the KDP, the PUK and other sides' duty to protect this achievement and improve it as well," he added. | beernut
17/6/2019 13:10 | I see one of the Gurus on the other board has solidified opinions re. his investing expertise this morning with the following little gem: "With regards to my shares,I have totally ignored them for years, irregardless of what the share price sinks to they will not be sold." They = his holding. For what it's worth, I don't believe his name is Woodford. Long & Strong as they say - with such shareholders there is nothing that cannot be achieved! | broadford bay
17/6/2019 12:39 | Still no news, whatever could the problems be now? Wrong weather for drilling? Where are all the "off the shelf cheap easy pumps" that were coming? No wonder the plan of easily and real fast to reach 40k a day was dumped. That was swept under the rug with all the other "issues" when someone had the bright idea of replacing it with the mega hype of going for 55k a day. Oh how the delusional crew spun that one. It looks as though the company has adopted a "quiet policy" as that way all the delays and failures can be "hidden" whilst the vested interests treat shareholders as suckers and trough on. Very strange that those incredibly clever Institution chaps haven't woken up yet. Perhaps they're happy to believe all is just fine when it's patently not. Sami on his bike, how many to follow? JF the next? Just a mull? | bigdog5

16/6/2019 13:35 | Meetings, cabinets, committees, agendas, new negotiating committees, delegations, haven't they been doing all this for the past 10+years. Has anything ever been agreed. Even if there was agreement would it last longer than the ink took to dry? Oil law LOFL. Biscuit anyone? | bigdog5 |
