How often has the "Old Peculiar" line been recycled?

As a debating adversary he's tedious beyond the nth. degree.

There's simply no substance to the man.

Again he drools over the fantasy of others losing money.
His claims of making fortunes on trading coups are not
fulfilling him. Perhaps that is an indication that they
lack substance in the real world.

Can't even present a "logical" argument in a way that makes any sense.

"Landlords have been selling up in recent months as
a series of reforms have made it less profitable and
more onerous to invest in property. Tax changes,
plans to improve tenants’ rights and incoming energy
efficiency rules have led to warnings private landlords
could quit the second in large numbers." [typo, should
be "sector"]

"the NRLA's Ben Beadle pointed out that since 2017, the
number of rental properties in England has fallen by more
than 250,000."

"THE", AKA Rose. The thing is this, you're hurting because of your losses, I can understand your bitterness at having to get up at 6am. But you'll claim you enjoy it. If you're not bothered about making money and sitting on your hands whilst losing 200,000 quid in lost profit etc why do you buy shares in the first place? The answer is you don't, you tell lies that everyone can see through..Now off in the tender across to the pub as I fancy Scampi and Chips, not had that in ages washed down with a pint of "Old Peculiar" which reminds me of you.

Sceptical?

Outright disbelief.

So, zoo, once again you are claiming after the share price rises
to have bought an unspecified but hugely profitable
stake in a share you have been dissing for months, after
having said that you have ploughed your previous profits
into rental property. Is it any wonder that people are
sceptical of your boasts?

Bees just fine Zoo.

Just got back from the heather moor after a 6am start. Will return this evening to fit the honey supers.

Loved your #59201 by the way.

I may write a poem based on that fairy tale.

Speaking of fairies - do you have many at the bottom of your garden?

And Rose pulls out THE, how's COPL the still under water are you given what you bought in at? You should keep your bragging to yourself Rose....Research old man that's the key. I would have thought after 77 years you may have learnt that one. .Oh yes you're Rose aren't you, you don't learn? :-))..Just chilling out on the boat today, lovely weather to be doing nothing but chillingand poking the Trolls. How's the honey sales going? Shame about that 200,000 quid you lost out on by sitting on your hands with Griffin. How many jars of honey would that be worth then?

You said you lost out, contemplating buying in a post
this morning, after SVE's opening rise. Up more now.
This was predictable for days, as SVE follows the GGP
movements after a useful delay.

I know what I am talking about from experience of
the 70s rental market at the time. You were a child.
Recent rental regulations have been moving in that
direction. If it continues, it will destroy the market.

Rose who said I lost out? You are down given your previous comments on your holdings. Why do you think I stared talking about SVE the other day? Regarding your comments in renting your haven't got a clue what you are talking about.

P- Yes, rents are rising, partly due to the
reduction in availability. Landlords are being
made to pay more tax and comply with more
regulation. No-fault eviction is being abolished,
and if the Conservatives continue to make the same
mistakes as Labour in the late sixties and seventies,
there will be lifetime tenures awarded to sitting
tenants and rent tribunals to lower agreed rents by
legal fiat. I remember the time well. No one with
a vacant property would let it.

Alan, with Phillis its just childish comments from someone who claims to come from the estates been well educated and is a leader. Yeah really? I think not. :-)) .It's just Rose with a slant, I see they're still out to get Trump, payback is due..Gold up a bit this morning, will be interesting to see if the Fed rate has any effect on the markets. I'm still hoping for a 75 point lift here next week given it was on the cards last time. Also wonder if GGP lifts again it will drag SVE up. Tempted to buy some for a short term trade. .Zoo

I wonder if we have seen the bottom in Gold shares after the dramatic collapse of the last few weeks. Certainly GGP looks to be recovering on the basis of recent valuations at more than double its existing share price. I am glad I got back on board with that one.

What a great cricket match T20 last night. Great entertainment.
Looks like another good day ahead on the stock market. Nasdaq had a huge rise yesterday so should be some follow through today, perhaps Tremor will do well.

Nice to see gold is up which will help GGP, shame Rose's SVE is really lagging behind now but it may catch up one day. :-)).Also the Fed has increased the interest rate by another 75 points. Looking good for the BoE to go 50 points or even to 75 points on the 3rd. Roll on the 7 percent interest rates that Sunak talks of if Truss wins. It's about time. .Zoo

Phillis or should I say Rose, of course you did? Yeah you retired early, more likely into prison. As I've said before you can take the kid out of the estate but not the estate out of the kid. .Jog on Rose.
