Talk about distasteful, zoo alleges that I am "laughing at other people's suffering". That is, of course, untrue, and he has no basis for believing it. My comments have been about the vaccine, it's effectiveness, or not, possible undesirable effects, and it's acceptance, or not, amongst various groups or individuals. Comment supported by links to many resources including the government's own information web pages. In the course of the exchange, both zoo and alan have revealed that they are prepared to to welcome a discriminatory policy of barring the un-vaccinated from venues and services including those essential to ordinary living. This while a majority of the population have not yet even been offered the vaccine, a vaccine they may not legally obtain through any source but the beleaguered NHS.

Katsy, I won't enter into a slanging match with you as I save that for Rose and his special friend Phillis. They have a very special relationship.What I shall say is this. I have family members who are medics and have been dealing with this from day one, they range from a specialist, GP to a nursing Sister. I have talked to them when they have been at their lowest. When they signed up for duty they accepted death was part of the job but wanted to not only help people but to keep the Grim Reaper at bay for as long as possible. What they did not think they were signing up for was death on such a scale all bar one who is Ex British Forces and it was kind of expected she would be dealing with a higher level of death. Rose is a very distasteful and nasty person who gets his jollies from spouting of like this whilst laughing at other people's suffering. I don't know if this virus was man made or deliberately released by the Chinese but the one thing I do know is that the virus is here with 123,000 UK related deaths and currently the vaccine is the only thing on offer that will? provide a degree of protection. It was created from a known vaccine and genetically modified to deal with Covid 19 and to a degree its mutations. So rather than sit back saying people are guinea pigs I've like 21m plus other people in the UK have had the vaccine. Zoo

You can tell them, Up, that the government itself won't assure them that vaccination will make any difference. Nevermind any new variants. Surely some members of your team are too young to have been offered the vaccine? Why are they picking on the old guy who hasn't had it either?

For what it's worth. We have moved half our team to a new work location in order that we don't get taken out by COVID. it's cost over £800,000 and so far it's enabled our operations to continue. I have one member of my team who will not get vaccinated and everyone is perplexed about the risk posed to the rest.

I see that zoo has again accused me of lying. I was offered the vaccination and have turned it down, for now. He is correct that I am in the age group currently being offered the jab, but he is incorrect in claiming that I have had it and am lying about that. Even the official government and NHS information sources won't assure you that the vaccine will protect you from the virus. There are lots of other information sources that are even less reassuring. Your choice.

Another government website says: "It can take a few weeks for the vaccine to protect you." But you would let these people into your plane, boat or restaurant right away. "The vaccine doesn’t completely stop everyone getting coronavirus" So, some of your saints will actually be sinners, and you won't be able to tell. "We do not yet know whether it will stop you from catching and passing on the virus." Well, that sounds like it is worth doing, doesn't it? Or maybe choose to wait until they know. The NHS advice website for coronavirus vaccinations says: "There is a chance you might still get or spread coronavirus even if you have the vaccine." So even the vaccinated may be unclean plague carriers under your way of thinking. "You should not have the COVID-19 vaccine if you have ever had a serious allergic reaction (including anaphylaxis) to: a previous dose of the same vaccine any of the ingredients in the vaccine" So what are those ingredients? If I get it I will not blame anyone but the Chinese. Another reason why I am not anxious to be vaccinated, at least not yet (I'm happy to wait until the panic subsides and perhaps better vaccines are available and more is known about them), is that I don't wish to travel. I dislike holidays. Why would anyone who has got his life just the way he likes it go away and leave it all, even for two weeks? In the past I travelled a lot, and I didn't care for it, in and of itself. I don't see why you think people should be barred from driving their own cars, though, even under the most discriminatory scenario.

Part of that last story says: "Current Covid vaccinations which have been authorised include the Oxford-Astra Zeneca Vaccine, and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine." So that's two vaccines in use in Britain. Ask if you get to choose between them, when your turn comes. It is ILLEGAL to get vaccinated outside the NHS system!

So zoo has made the jump to claim that un-vaccinated people (still the majority of the population, but perhaps soon to be a minority) are unclean and worthy of shunning. He isn't even ashamed to say it.

Zoo attacks me for posting links and also attacks me for posts "in my own words" without links to "prove" what I have to say. I rather think he is just looking for excuses to attack me whatever I post. I was going to post something along the lines of Katsy's post, but he has beaten me to it. It's an apt comparison. These things start with manipulation of public opinion. We've seen examples of where it can end.

Alan, its just sad posts. I suspect he will either catch it and die or he has had the vaccine. More likely he's just attention seeking which I feel is more to the point. He could make one post to debate his point, but no, he justs swamps the BB with stupid cut and pastes and links which says a lot about his inability to put his point over in his own words. . The budget has not really caused any problems in the main which is good.Anf Griffin has lifted but may close where it opened. Zoo

Katsy they have done very well but then so have we here in this country, I was in the first age group to have it although they were slow calling me, this is why I’m so disgusted with rose , hope they issue cards to everybody to show when they use cafes restaurants and pubs those that haven’t bothered won’t be allowed in and quite rightly so , there is no way I want to be anywhere near somebody who hasn’t had it, if they have medical reasons not to have it then it can be put on a card ,good luck
