AMT- yet another call for me to be silent, while you and others rail against me. I will continue to post. The links I provide are not "out of context", but whole reports in publicly available news sources. You may dislike the theme of these reports, but the facts, such as various people refusing to be vaccinated, are true. As for persuading others, it is my right and even my "public duty" to bring to readers attention information that is being suppressed by mainstream media sources, who are issuing government inspired propaganda in the form of state controlled TV ads with celebrities mouthing the approved message to millions. I doubt that I have anything like their persuasive clout, nor am I trying to persuade. Make your own choice. Try to be informed when you do. You are of course free to put your own point of view. Unlike you, I would not ask anyone to shut up, nor claim that it is disgraceful for you to speak your mind.

If everyone took your stance nobody would be vaccinated, everyone would be waiting. Of course it's your choice but you make it worse by peddling nonsense by picking out of context statements to make it seem that the vaccines might not be effective. So not only are you not doing your public duty but you might be persuading others to follow your actions, which is disgraceful. You need to think about the consequences before you write.

Trump suggested that it be researched, not that people should try it themselves. I am relaxed about the vaccine. I have chosen to wait. Those who want it move up by one in the queue. That is my "public duty" satisfied.

I am perfectly happy about others being vaccinated. Their choice. Even if not completely effective, it may help bring about the end of the lockdowns, though even the experts don't think the virus will ever be eliminated. There are plenty of people who want to be vaccinated, no reason to pressure those who don't. As with herd immunity, once a large proportion of the population are resistant, the pandemic will be over and the health service will be able to cope with the reduced numbers and even get back to treating cancer and heart disease. There won't then be any rationale for vaccine "passports" or other limitation on our liberties, but if they are introduced now, we will never be rid of them. The government never lets go of a controlling law once they get it on the books.

What? My report of Merkel's refusal of the vaccine was not specific enough for you? That's why you claimed I was lying? Even now, here in Britain, one is not allowed to specify which vaccine one wants to have. In fact I think only one, the one Merkel was offered and refused, is being administered. When they call me to offer me an appointment to be vaccinated, as they have more than once, they don't offer me a choice or even tell me which vaccine they propose to administer. But you are perfectly happy to call me a liar because I didn't specify a vaccine by name when I mentioned the story about Merkel refusing to be vaccinated.

Rose, I just repeated what you said in your post about the Queen supporting the vaccine and Merkel refusing to have it nothing about the Astra and age issues. Just that she would not have the vaccine. Supporting posts are just rubbish because you failed to mention it at the time and you know it. zoo paddygall gives fantastic updates and photos on a daily basis there seems to be good news all the way but it continues to be stuck, maybe with the pog rising it may push it up a bit tomorrow, there is an AGM at GUN tomorrow, our Nicola is under pressure tonight tomorrow is her big day, nothing will be the same for her whatever happens, I see it’s now 50/50 for independence I have to have my ears blasted tomorrow lunchtime so I will miss the budget, good luck,

Alan, I thought GGP would have done something today after the interview given the nod was given but I suppose we shall have to wait for the RNS. Everyone I know who has been offered the jab has taken it up even in their fifties which my surgery is now doing. Had to laugh at Phillis calls me donkey brain accuses me of removing a post that's in front of his nose. Yeah right, kettle calling the pot black methinks.To be honest my view on the vaccine is if people don't want it fine, however if going forward places refuse entry unless you can prove that you are exempt or have had it so well and good.
