cracking day for zinc. $2,535 as I type.
gold at $1,910
Silver at $24.75 & Lead joining in also at $1,770

This is making a complete mockery of GFM share price & judging by the way the MM's are not interested in selling at all but, constantly very keen to buy all they get this hands on, suggests there are buyers about under 70p

This is such BS. Last chance under 70p, imo & the MM's have shut the door and trying to go to the bell without selling any

TA - You certainly have a excellent memory of Tyndrum and walking routes would generally now be better defined than 30 years ago. The week went very well and the weather was superb for the time of year with good visibility most days and barely any rain. Stayed in a pod for the first time with my son and walked on five consecutive days taking in 9 Munros including Ben Lui. I'm afraid my route was from a layby on A85 (only met 6 people all day) rather than Cononish (which would have been longer but direct from our site) so didn't see any mining activity but did pan the River Lochy with my walking boots 4 times. I'd better check them for any gold nuggets! Two of the large hotels there have closed last year but you'll be pleased to hear The Green Welly is still going strong. I'm intending to return there next year to polish off the remaining Munros in that area.

Not so fortunate with timing of my investments. Griffin has proved to be a particular nemesis with handsome profits turning into losses. I've been seduced (or perhaps suckered) by the repeated expectation of the transformational licence on several occasions. There's no question that it's a world class mine/resource but I've now significantly reduced my holding pending real clarity as my take is the Chinese are just running the clock down on the initial 25 year period. Your own holding must have seen a massive fluctuation in value over recent years with the price volitity. Fortunately my timing has been somewhat better on other investments.

ARP. How did your week at Tyndrum go? You certainly picked the right week. This week would have been somewhat uncomfortable. Over here on the right hand side of the country it is raining with the promise of much the same for the next few days. I understand that the west is worse - the Rest and be Thankful is closed - yet again!
Hope that the timing of your trades is as good as that for your holidays!
Did you see any activity from our very own Scottish (albeit owned by Aussies) gold mining company up at Cononish. When I did Ben Lui, 30 + years ago, I came across old mine workings which I believe were 18th and 19th C lead mines.
Does the Green Welly Shop still exist? Was always good for a bacon roll after a day in the hills.

The apiarist I will be the judge who I filter not you, my broker said GFM was a hold and 67p Punch and Judy laughed well it’s now 67p, so they are not so stupid after all, when there is some concrete news here I will buy a lot more but I don’t think that’s even close,

hi zoo, I’ve had a really good morning out, and what have they done glued as usual to there computers , trying to correct petty mistakes, they all need to get a life, how sad, hope your having a reasonable morning , there doesn’t seem much going on at all, lots of small gold shares rallying but you can’t be in all of them , good luck,

Just the usual gyrations, its hard to buy on a down day, selling the same as buying leads to a bit of herd mentality. GFM is way way too cheap.

Apparently young people are stressed by periods
now. They are so used to non-sentences and emojis
that they think full stops are assertive and
aggressive.

Doesn't apply to careless octogenarians of course.

Perhaps not "nothing".
I believe that Phillis may be gently pointing out that sentences should not end with a comma.
