Well done for trading out of the hole Sage!

We will be queueing up soon at TP, I do quite a lot of construction and we're hoping that when supplies get tight, we'll be at the front of their queue. So if our fears are right, they ought to do well. So I think I will have some of them. Give with one hand and hopefully take back with the other!

Hi JPP, I was actually too early on financials and have had to buy and sell to get out of a rather large hole. TP and Wimpey whilst well off their lows have nearly 50% headroom to return to their highs where as FTSE100 has fallen far less. Tullow has been good bought more today so new B/E is 10p which makes up for Lloyd’s where my B/E is circa 45p. Still hold 65,000 GFM...GLA. For the record I have no “friends”; here but there are a number of people whose views I have come to respect.

Why does alan think being "answered" is the goal
of posting on these forums? Is that why he gives
zooperson an "attaboy" every time he posts?

A good post draws no dissenting responses (unless
you have a vituperative stalker). People giving
each other gold stars all the time is just lame.

Four garages four prices for the same make of tyre etc. One garage 20 percent cheaper on price and free repairs. Where as the others didn't offer that free service. Ok, Mr Bloody Know It All?Clearly you ripping off a modern tyre with irons and damaging the rims is why you get leaks. Simples....Tullow looking good still, I think there will be some retraction soon.

Wow. Hadn't logged on since May 31st. 536 messages. Guess how many were 'off topic'. Getting a little out of hand lads. I scrolled a lot, and may have missed the odd good post.

Interesting (to me) buying from Sage. I feel you're a bit late on L&G and housebuilders? L&G I accept I was too slow and won't buy now, housebuilders I think have run to high, a lot are not far off pre CV levels, that can't be right. I like the Polar financials and Travis P. I'm also tempted by Rose's SVE at some stage.

I think Sage might be right that we have a short window of momentum until reality hits and results come out. One of my commercial tenants, well run, tell me they have lost 95% of their trade - wholesaler; that's tough.

I think Rushi might be right to hold off on announcing his next support package, don't go too early, and we're going to need a bigger boat.

Welcome Hari88, I hope you are right to get back in.

any other good ideas for this trading window. I must admit I am still drawn to sell in May, June may be OK, but things will get bumpy in July and August.

As someone said amongst the 536 posts, just goes to prove the market isn't forward looking. Seems it is when it suits the narrative, but isn't at the moment IMHO. Do we really think companies haven't been hit harder? OK, NPV of income when interest rates are 0% can begin to become infinite. Doesn't mean it is the right price at the end though.

And OK, I get it, a wall of money is landing in stocks. Other People's money. I don't ever think that's been truer.

Gailles I can’t read your posts ,but as a valid GFM holder from this morning whereas you aren’t ,we’ve tried everything we can with rose , it’s just a complete waste of time ,he enjoys This and it’s been going on for years i have friend that used to post on here many moons ago was so upset with rose he chucked the towel in ,I speak to him often he still reads the posts and will tell me if anything is said about me ,although I don’t really need it ,twice through you we have agreed to stop this but rose will not so it’s him you have the argument with not us ,good luck to you , you will need it ,

Rose we tried that and you just carried on. That's the problem you just want to cause trouble, you get off on it not only here but on other BBs also that's why people won't engage with you. Can't you understand that?Maybe this is more deep rooted? You have lost a great deal of potential profit on GFM hence why you want to ruin the BB. All of your cutting remarks kind of makes sense.

I don't have "friends" in aetherland, The
concept is ridiculous in and of itself.
If someone decides they want to make me an
enemy, that is their decision. It is an
equally ridiculous posture to take up.

Fixed. Took longer than it should have
because I had to make a tool, but I didn't
have to drive anywhere or pay someone else
to do something I am perfectly capable of
doing myself.

ALL garages charge for puncture repair.
Yours just does it invisibly when you
pay for the tyres. And you think it's free.
