Rose. As long as they move as per last few days in an inverse relationship we can only hope there will come a time when zinc reverses but GFM won't and the basic laws of positive correlation will apply.

What do you want to hear?

I could point out again that the PoZ and
the share price are moving in opposite directions,
but there is no one to become enraged
anymore.

Yes indeed phillis tax bills don't get any easier and I'm sure when we were younger they didn't come round so quick! Good luck.we haven't heard from rose for a while.

If you read back over my posts from several months ago I have posed the question several times that I think an MBO is a distinct possibility when you look at the total percentage held by a select few shareholders ( who are closest to the true realisable potential of the company). In one post I even gave some figures of holdings and an estimate of what funding would be required to obtain a controlling interest. If this is on the agenda we would need one of two things (or indeed both) - other shareholders to hold out for a significant premium (for me £1.75 minimum) and/or a bidding war with other mining majors interested in zinc entering the fray.

Usdan is holding over 19%.Griffiths holds approximately 10%, coupled with some original 3.5p holders I would say any bid would have to be substantial aside from the fact that GFM holds no debt.

I suspect there could be talks about a T/0.I had a conversation with RG a few years a go as to what constitutes a bid. If there is a conversation where a party says we may be interested but no financial offer then thats just a conversation. Indeed if I called RG and said I wouldn't mind owning GFM it doesn't make a reportable offer. However if figures are mentioned then that leads to other processes. I would not be surprised if there have been conversations but as to what level? If I knew that I would be a happy chap. ?Time will tell!

2 days of strong price movement here.I'm confused as to why. Zinc remains weak, so it can't be that. In fact Chinese data has been pretty negativeCould some party be building a stake?Leaked news about 2nd license or a dividend policy? Can't wait to find out!

Guys

I can't tell you how important it is that radio silence is maintained at times like this... Can we please keep it down.

Hi Alan, so do I as my portfolio is circa £60k down predominantly I believe due to the uncertainties of Brexit, which of course has no or minimal impact on Griffin. A return to £1.50 plus in 2019 would certainly help !

The board will only release a statement only if they are pushed all the way,I'm not really feeling positive because it will never be as good as what you are expecting ,there is always a sting in the tail,I think I have held them for too many years .i remember many years ago we got a three pence dividend everybody got really exited ,and that was it ,nothing since, anyway millwallfan I hope you are right,

Very quiet on this board despite a retrace from low eighties to high nineties- probably to be expected as we all wait with bated breath for the y/e 12/18 trading and profit figures. IMHO our P/E ratio is still very low for a profitable debt free company with documented potential upsides albeit a long acknowledged negatives of operating in China and absence of dividend affecting investor sentiment. Reasonable Zinc recovery and licence news must surely move us towards an industry median p/e which would undoubtedly put a smile 😊 on even the grimmest of current shareholders faces.

Rose. The info I’m looking at shows under 180,000 shares total traded today so highly unlikely to indicate insider dealing - had there been one trade of say 500,000 it might have raised a few eyebrows!! As such let’s just hope it’s the start of better investor confidence in a debt free , profitable mining company with sound fundamentals and growth potential.
