The early days of turning Griffin into a
producer and bringing the processing plant
online were indeed a great achievement. Many
of the same board members are still in place.
They seem to be unable to move on from a
start-up with great prospects to a cash-cow
investment. You can't start up forever.

I'll echo that Burnchat. This year it's been like the rise and fall of the Roman Empire watching Griffin. Let's hope 2019 rewards all of us.

VOG was such a torturus journey. Creating value by actually doing something is never easy. Lets hope GFM can see similiar gains for their efforts, which even if i do say so myself have been nothing short of something that they can all be very proud of... indeed.

Sage-

Most of your bullet points are false and the
rest are misrepresentations. Glad to see you
reveal that disagreeing with you is your
definition of bigotry, though.

Your point one is particularly telling; you are
intolerant of those who disagree about Griffin
returning value to investors, and miss-represent
their views at the same time. Such disagreement
is entirely legitimate and a proper subject for
debate here, but the misrepresentation is an
invalid argument.

Everyone here "hides behind" a username. If you
wish to reveal your own details, you can put them
in your user profile. I have put a few comments
in mine. Your idea of what constitutes unjust
criticism is just another disagreement with other's
views.

3 and 4 are argument by misrepresentation.

Bullying is bad. And impossible online, as one is
not really here. If one is so fragile one is unable
to take a bit of verbal sparring, then stick to real
life and don't leave the house. This goes back to
intolerance of others' views being at variance with
ones own. It's bound to happen. How you handle it is
the key.

No one here has ever wanted Trump to run the UK.
I have said that we need a leader like him, but
he is an American and we need a Brit.

That "97% of scientists" figure has been
debunked many times, but the credulous still
trot it out. It was 97% of the climate
scientists hand-picked to take part in one
study funded by the UN, certainly not any
large proportion of all scientists, nor even
a representative sample. Just the ones already
onboard.

You have no way of knowing the IQ of your
detractors, just as others have no way of
knowing yours. Most people don't even know
their own score, if they were ever tested.
I haven't been tested since high school, and
was not told my score then.

So, was that you getting back to discussing
Griffin and the prospects thereof?

Rageman, you have lost your mojo and are listing everything that YOU are. And yes it just serves to highlight your bigoted ways. It would seem 9 years of boarding school has left you permanently scarred.

A bigot = someone who is intolerant of the views of others. The IQ comment had nothing to do with my IQ it was to do with the low level of the bullies. So just so people are clear what am I intolerant about:

1) People who believe that a growth company should pay their total earnings as a dividend. It is why EPS and dividend per share are different.
2) People who hide behind their keypads and unjustly criticise the BOD.
3) People who's analysis runs to share price going up = BOD good. share price down = BOD rubbish.
4) People who take 3 months to accept the correlation between the share price and the zinc price.
5) People who bully others
6) People who think that Trump should run the UK.
7) People who believe that global warming does not exist. Since 97% of scientists agree that means the alternative view is deviant (2 standard deviations)

Sadly all the above have been spouted by the 3 amigo's here and my arguing against those views is what has caused the nastiness. It is those views that are actually bigoted and just because they club together does not make them right.

I like informed debate about the markets and especially GFM. Bought some Lloyds today , thinking about buying another 25000 GFM.

Odd movement on the LME chart. Usually it
moves up sharply when a shipment comes in
then resumes slower downward trend.

Can't believe that I've openly admitted on half a dozen occasions that I agree with many of the information you have posted. However I won't take back those posts re the information as unlike you I'm not a bigot.

My last three comments were directed at you,

your personal attacks, but you are not in
charge of what others post.

Rose, agree with your sentiments. Just not sure who you are directing your comments towards?! Perhaps I could ask that you also talk about GFM? Without wishing to be boring this is a GFM discussion board ! So let’s kick things off . Who thinks the Sp will be £2 at some point in 2019 . If so what would be the drivers. Also who thinks 50p ( or to be cryptic 58p) and if so what would be the drivers? Let’s get back to healthy debate. I am fed up with personal attacks. Now I could get you all excited with an argument for £5 but I would need MWF for back up, a license, a new Jorc and a far higher zinc price....

Yet another attack on someone for posting
something you don't like. Why not just do
your own thing and let others be? If you
can't do the sensible thing and clear off.

Up, pretty much everyone here has known grief on almost an intolerable level and I extend my sympathies to all , especially to poor CD. The fact that I do not care to share mine with you is irrelevant and does not make my pain any less. However, that does not excuse you being vile to others. So my sympathies about your dad, now tell me something about GFM that Is useful. We are here to talk principally about GFM and perhaps to share a few other ideas that may make us richer. So come on tell me something useful... I am talking about zinc prices, warehouse stock levels, being pleasant at Xmas and buying GFM shares. In contrast you are trying to make unconnected third parties feel bad about events in your personal life.

Sage, you clearly don't get on with the old
regulars here, so for your own comfort, why
not post elsewhere. The many eyes^3 that hang
on your every word are sure to follow, and
everyone will be happy.

Alan, Thank you for your kind words and for the future of all who may have to pay IHT. Your experience may give others here the impetus to plan ahead and save families from the burden when the time comes.
