Gresham House Strategic Plc Fund Manager & Managing Director Graham Bird talks about the strong performance in its final audited results for the year ended 31 March 2017. Graham talks us through drivers from the portfolio, what he expects will drive the fund moving forward, Graham's view on the markets & why do they focus on the smaller and value end of the spectrum and lastly with a maiden dividend announced today, should we expect good and growing dividends to be a key feature of this fund.

Final Results out today.

EPS up from 8.3p to 76p

Was that expected??

Maiden dividend of 15p, ex-div date 22 June 2017. Paid 21 July.

Can't complain here.

Having looked at previous news, final results are going to be around mid June.
Might be a 15 pence dividend after AGM.

Recommended by Simon Thompson in IC last week:

"Investors are missing a trick at Gresham House Strategic(GHS:880p). The company's net asset value per has surged by 11 per cent to £43.5m since the end of March this year, but the share price is little changed since I last advised buying ('Value opportunities', 11 Apr 2017). "

The company still have to buy about fourteen thousand shares before the sixteenth of May so the share price should rise as we approach that date.

Gives confidence but not enough on its own Harry - needs nav to sharply rise - or share price & NAV to be bottoming out with LT bowl or Tick shape - or to be in a hot sector etc
