16/9/2019 14:13 | Much more sensible! Good set of numbers from Gresham House today and sound statement. 'An asset to covet' | westofengland
16/9/2019 13:57 | Correction RNS - its Gresham House asset management taking the holding rather than the company itself. Maybe someone is reading this bb! | topvest
13/9/2019 19:04 | This is an odd way to spend £1m or so. Not the typical Gresham House plc investment! | topvest
28/7/2019 10:58 | TV - difficult what to make of that LMS statement. Very well known that they find Robert Rayne a total waste of space; they need to find a way to buy him out so that LMS can move on... | skyship
26/7/2019 18:59 | Yes, looks good. Sounds like they might lose the LMS mandate though, as per today's RNS. | topvest
26/7/2019 18:30 | Amazing chart. You would have thought that some punters would have altitude sickness by now and start bailing out. Doesn't seem like it! | gargleblaster
24/5/2019 18:28 | Thnx for that... | skyship
24/5/2019 17:13 | Skyship, This was a result of the Strategic Public Equity partnership announced by Gresham and SLA on 21st March so SLA have actually added £6m cash to Gresham's Balance Sheet. It seems a very good attractive partner for Gresham and will probably provide more assets for Gresham to manage in early course. This business is one of the winners in the fund management space plus the deal to manage assets for AXA in Irish Forestry announced earlier this week. | westofengland
24/5/2019 15:01 | Standard Life / Aberdeen now hold 1,365,256 shares (5.15%) | skyship
16/5/2019 21:41 | irish management contract letter of intent to manage on behalf of an institution over multiple forests on small parcels of land say, 75ha each, announced for today's AGM also something in the wind in the UK? | mw8156
22/3/2019 10:43 | This sounds positive hxxps://www.investme | sf5
07/3/2019 20:21 | Yes, progressing nicely indeed. Happy to hold long term. | topvest
07/3/2019 12:45 | "profits are set to scale up sharply as last year’s underlying operating margin of 20 per cent ratchets up towards the board's 40 per cent target rate" "I would recommend staying fully invested in Gresham House though given that the shares offer potentially 41 per cent to my 650p target price. Buy." | cf456
25/11/2018 21:31 | Yes, they have real critical mass. The Livingbridge deal looks a win:win situation to me. They have really now transformed this old investment trust. I purchased a small shareholding in Gresham House when it was in wind-up phase as I thought that someone would step-up given its heritage (the 871 company no. from 1851!!). I actually got this spot on for once. Nice to see them hit £100m market capitalisation. I can see them continuing to be very successful and Asset Management remains my No. 1 chosen sector, so I will be in for the long-term ride! | topvest
12/11/2018 17:34 | I agree. This business continues to do great deals- to achieve a £100m IPO and buy the Livingbridge business in the same week is most impressive. It gives the Energy Storage business further critical mass and the Strategic Private Equity Business too. Good that the Livingbridge team are incentivised with a significant position in GHE stock. | westofengland
12/11/2018 10:37 | This also is a positive development, surely? | sf5
09/11/2018 21:10 | Excellent news this week. £100M Energy Storage Fund just made its IPO. Transformational acquisition. £2BN of AUM. I'm quite impressed with how Gresham House has developed. It all looks very encouraging. Deals they make are all very sensible. | topvest
20/10/2018 12:54 | Prospectus now out. It looks like they should get this away. Will generate some good fees if it goes well. It's going onto the Specialist Fund Market so is targeting sophisticated investors and has a £20k minimum. I'm not very interested in these high income vehicles personally as I'd rather have low-moderate income and capital growth. but others will no doubt be interested in the search for yield. | topvest |
