I work in Manchester city centre and can tell you footfall is very high when the weather is nice, which has been the case since the start of May.

High probability of profit warning at the end of this month.
1. It's too damn hot.
2. No one goes to Greggs to buy a f'ing salad.
3. The sugar tax has messed with peoples tastes.
4. & it means that health nutters eg Jamie f'ing Oliver with all the media attention is dissuading the general population from eating meal deals & sausage meat .

Here's some numbers that no one looks at anyway:

Mano a mano - Steak Bake vs Ronald McD's Hamburger
Price - £1.25 vs 99p
Energy - 405 kcal vs 250 kcal
Fat Gross (g) - 26 vs 8.3
Protein (g) - 14 vs 13
Carbohydrate (g)- 29 vs 30
of is Sugars (g)- 0.2 vs 6.6
Salt (g) - 1.4 vs 1.2

Whats the profit forecast for 18? Similar to 17?EPS of 63p so P/E still around 15 at these levels? That sound about right? I'd like to add in the 600's if it gets that low...

I agree. Here's hoping the last trading update was a blip due to bad weather. If it was then the share price should re rate.

£9 is probably about right, unless the market 'corrects'. I'll have a look at anything around £8 - £8.50ish.

Greggs is not overvalued, it was overvalued at 1400p, a fair valuation right now is 1200p. If anything it's oversold. I bet my shirt and your shirt (Barius) Greggs will not go below 1000p.

Unlikely. Last one was due to shop closures due to bad weather. Since start of May the weather has been consistently good and dry, thus footfall in shopping areas should have increased.

come on you know you want to go higher really
had a sausage roll yesterday on the way to the bank ( the best sausage roll ever sold)
i like them even when it is hot like yesterday
pity they don't sell ice cream
nice own brand GREGGS ice cream would have gone down a treat on the way home

their biggest problem in the summer is they don't sell ice creams
silly it would help bring children into the stores. lean the brand early
newsagents have essentially gone so have the ice cream sellers

Having got bored with McDonald's breakfast recently most of our staff have switched to Greggs.

Greggs is oversold, the market is clueless, the market thinks one snow storm means bacon butties are dying. I am guessing if you get in now around 1000p, getting to 1400p won't be difficult.
