26/1/2018 13:47 | 'JD Wetherspoon: Pubs chain puts mis-steak behind it with new meat supply deal' ....The update came as calls were made for the Food Standards Agency to release more details about its concerns over Russell Hume, which also supplies some goods to Marston’s, Green King and clubs chain Tiger Tiger. The FSA said this week that there is no indication that people have become ill from eating meat supplied by the company. | philanderer
25/1/2018 17:39 | Pretty good performance today. "...Greene King has industry-leading brands, a strong and flexible balance sheet, and a sustainable dividend, leaving us well placed given the challenging market conditions." | philanderer
25/1/2018 08:44 | Usual piffle from the board but there should be upside from here. We are unlikely to have snow disruption as we move through the year and in some parts of the business the company is actually outperforming the market. It says the dividend is sustainable and I can see a steady rise from here of about 10% possible in relief as much as anything else that the results weren't worse. A very poorly performing management with a pub menu style list of excuses but selling now in what is probably the low point of the share price would only leave you crying in your beer. | mach100
25/1/2018 08:41 | Yep, looks like it was all priced in. Morning wf :-) | philanderer
25/1/2018 08:40 | Keep them coming phil :) Well, the share price hasn't been hammered so the results are in line with the city boys expectations. Good dividend and steady share price rise from here imo. | waspfactory

25/1/2018 07:12 | Either side of the two Christmas weeks sales were slower, reflecting the tough underlying trading environment and additional snow impact. Pub Company LFL sales for the first 37 weeks of the year were -1.4%. Drink and room LFL sales were ahead of last year while food LFL sales remained behind last year. Looks rubbish | larva

12/1/2018 11:01 | That's because it's not a dc! It will trundle along as it has done for the past few hundred years. It will not cut its dividend. I've held this share for ever and simply buy more when the market offers them to me cheap (as I did recently when it thought HSBC bank was a basket case at 485p on a 7%+ yield). | jeffian |
