Of course they don't. I suspect he is referring to their tenants who, of course, are not "employees".

I assume they are not short of staff? Do they pay below minimum wage?

It's all in the public domain, one does not need to be employed by them to work out they are screwing their employees . It's called taking advantage , no wonder the Uk has a reputation for unfairness in the labour market , am sure Theresa will sort out the greedy little piggies at the trough.

They probably can't afford to lay their staff anymore because of some workers skiving off all the time and posting bitterly about the unfairness of it all on jnvestment threads. Not mentioning any names though.

Greene King probably the worst pub group for rewarding their hard working employees ,working 68 hours a week for £240 a week pay , wonderfull it is not.

racg, when you speak to the company could you ensure they have hedges in place, we all know how volatile the nut price can be.

Excuse me, but are you saying they pay bar snacks to the staff as compensation?

That is outrageous.

I mean, what if they run out as a result and the customers can't have any salty snacks as a result.

This could lead to reduced beer sales.

I ll get onto the management urgently about this.

Thanks for alerting me.

This company only makes a profit because it pay's peanuts to those that create the wealth , they deserve a share price which reflects these dodgy shenanigans , £3 on it's way.

The issue you highlight is symptomatic of western corporate culture.

Ultimately employees are not compelled to work for a particular company.

Exactly my point , average of 85 hours per week for £16k per year , while the senior managers are on £150k on 38 hour week , it's called screwing the staff! £3.00 on the way/
