i'm up 34% in a few months and wish I'd put more into it, my other biggy VEC is also doing well, so am very happy at present and GNC looks a great share for the future. Cracking board too, as I am also unfortunately in SAR (one of my lesser wise choices)

I'm not holding many in this and wish I was holding more but it's just a nice steady rise, keeps under the radar of most PI's I guess.

such a nice quiet board for such a nice earning share! it's weird how my best choices all have quiet b.b.'s whilst my biggest underperformers (iqe, acta, lam and cupid in the past) have the 'noisiest' boards

I think January will be the key month. The Festive season will provide a clear indication of the growth available and hopefully the Starbucks roll out. I will top up if we ever see less than £2.

Good stuff Haddock. These boards are good for bouncing ideas and I'm learning to filter a lot of the rubbish from people with funny old agendas or who get very worked up about it all. Wish I had got into Thalassa about 6 months ago - felt obvious but just didn't get round to it.
I want to build up a increasingly lower risk portfolio that will allow my kids to get a good start and me to retire before I'm 102! Simple as that really.

Really like the look of Greencore again now it's done some consolidation for a couple of months. Feels like it's ready to get up over 200.

saw your holdings are v close to mine richtea (vectura, gnc, vodafone, telfords, biotech)5 other big holdings i've got, which have/are doing v. well are fidelity special values, thalassa, photo-me, renew and driver

Yes, hope to top up this week. My rationale is based on the list of funds that have gone overweight in this. Not just UK trackers but hedge and overseas. Therefore, I am working on basis that they know more than I do. Feels very similar to other shares when a bid is expected. Any ideas who would have them on target list or am I missing something?
