Appointment of a Non-Executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed Lucinda Riches CBE as a non-executive director of the Company. Lucinda will also be a member of the Company's Audit, Management Engagement and Nominations Committees. Her appointment will be effective from 1 May 2019.

Lucinda has extensive experience in investment banking, specialising in the capital markets sector having worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, followed by 21 years with UBS Investment Bank, where her ultimate role was Global Head of Equity Capital Markets.

Tim Ingram, Chairman said:

"With her extensive executive experience in equity capital markets, and varied non-executive director experience on other listed company boards, we believe that Lucinda will make a valuable contribution to the Company."

Lucinda is the Senior Independent Director ("SID") of The British Standards Institution and is (or was within the previous five years) a non- executive director of the following publicly quoted companies:
