16/11/2005 19:33 | and one at minesite November 17, 2005 Gravity Diamonds Could Be On Verge Of Diamondiferous Kimberlite Discovery in DRC .....Phil Harman, the company's managing director reckons the diamond terrain and the magnetic targets, which have been pinpointed and are now being tested, represent one of the best chances for a major diamond discovery anywhere in the world today. "Certainly," he says " it is the best bet I have seen in my 30 years in the business. Exploration in Kasai is being carried out under the terms of the August 2004 Framework Agreement with BHP Billiton which has defined rights to buy back control and management of any discovery at an early stage but on terms favourable to Gravity. Mr Harman was formerly the chief geophysicist and exploration manager for BHP Billiton in South America so he has a sound understanding of the high risk element of diamond exploration...... | schober | |

27/7/2005 08:02 | RNS Number:3505P Gravity Diamonds Limited 27 July 2005 RELEASED ON BEHALF OF: GRAVITY DIAMONDS LIMITED (ASX & AIM : GRN) 27 July 2005 ASX & AIM-LISTED GRAVITY RECOVERS DIAMONDS FROM FIRST HOLE IN ABNER RANGE FOLLOW-UP DRILLING * One 0.147ct macrodiamond recovered * Two diamonds greater than 0.3mm in size * Fine fraction of samples still to be tested for micro-diamonds * Results from two further holes expected shortly Gravity Diamonds Limited is pleased to announce that three diamonds greater than 0.3mm in size have been recovered from drill hole ARC 015, the first analysed from the company's recently completed 15 hole RC programme to define the extent of the ABN 21 kimberlite pipe in the Abner Range of Australia's Northern Territory and give some guide to its potential grade. Gravity managing director Mr Phil Harman said that, although it is not possible to draw any firm conclusions about the grade of the kimberlite from this limited result, "the recovery of a larger diamond of good quality from such a limited sample is highly encouraging". ARC 015 penetrated 10 metres of younger cover rocks and reached a final depth of 25 metres. It was sited within the pipe, approximately 60 metres southeast of discovery hole ARC 03 drilled at the beginning of this year. Gravity, listed in Australia and quoted on the AIM market in London, reports that analysis was carried out on sample bulked over five metre intervals down hole. Samples weighed were between 100 and 145kg. Three diamonds were recovered from ARC 015 in the two samples between 15 and 25 metres depth, the largest being a 0.147ct mostly colourless stone with a green tinge measuring 3.6mm by 3.0mm by 1.6mm. The other two diamonds were of similar colour with dimensions of 0.35mm and 0.40mm respectively. The remaining sample fraction (< 0.3mm) from this hole will be submitted for microdiamond analysis. Two further holes (ARC 013 and ARC 023) are currently being evaluated for diamonds greater than 0.3mm in size, with results expected shortly. The Abner Range targets were identified by a FALCON(R) survey, the airborne gravity system developed by BHP Billiton and under an agreement with BHP Billiton. The ABN 021 kimberlite discovery resulted from first-pass drilling of a FALCON (R) target, with 147 microdiamonds and two small macrodiamonds recovered from two shallow holes drilled in January. Almost all the stones are whole, colourless and of potential gem quality. Exploration of the Abner Range tenement is being carried out under the terms of a previously announced exploration agreement with Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Ltd. 14/6/2005 09:36 | Gravity Diamonds Limited 14 June 2005 RELEASED ON BEHALF OF: GRAVITY DIAMONDS LIMITED (ASX & AIM : GRN) 14 June 2005 Significant New Kimberlite Pipe Confirmed at Abner Range, NT - Gravity survey shows pipe potential within the size range of 1.5 and 3 hectares - Core drilling intersects diatreme facies kimberlite - Drilling underway to test size and grade potential Recent fieldwork on the Abner Range project in the Northern Territory has continued to upgrade the area. The program included detailed ground gravity over the ABN21 anomaly followed by a limited diamond drilling program to obtain geological samples of the pipe. Twenty-five FALCON(R) targets within the vicinity of ABN21 were followed up with geochemistry and loam sampling. Ground Gravity Survey Results from the detailed ground gravity over the ABN21 FALCON(R) target are shown in Figure 1 and indicate potential for a kimberlite pipe of between 1.5 and 3 hectares. The gravity survey also highlights a smaller, separate lobe immediately to the southwest of the main anomaly, the significance of which will be further evaluated. The results of this work further confirm the potential of the other FALCON(R) targets in the area that will be drilled later this field season. Diamond Drilling Five diamond drill holes were completed on ABN21 to test the geological nature of the kimberlite pipe during May. Details of the holes are summarised in Table 1 below. Their locations are shown in Figure 1 which also indicates the locations of RC drill holes from the 2004 program. The results of ARC001 and ARC003, previously announced, returned a total of 147 microdiamonds and two small macrodiamonds. Table 1 Hole Inclination TD down hole Geology (m) ADD01 Vertical 24 Collar in cover sequence, kimberlite at 6.2m depth ADD01a Vertical 51.6 Collar in cover sequence, kimberlite from 5.6m ADD02 -52degrees 221 Soft kimberlite encountered from 192m SW ADD03 Vertical 104 Kimberlite stringers in pipe margin ADD04 Vertical 76 Kimberlite intersected from 9.4m /2 GRAVITY DIAMONDS 2 The kimberlite body is covered with 5-9 metres of Recent ferruginous gravels and Cretaceous sediments. It intrudes flat-lying, interbedded sandstone and shale. Kimberlitic lithologies recovered in the drill core, an example of which is shown in Figure 2, are indicative of diatreme facies. Core samples recovered from the diamond drilling were of insufficient volume to submit for diamond analysis. A reverse circulation drilling program to define the exact area of the pipe and to recover sufficiently large sample volumes for diamond analysis is in progress. The first analytical results from this program should be available in mid August. Regional Sampling and Target Drilling Twenty-five FALCON(R) targets within a 10 kilometre radius of ABN21 were sampled by geochemical and heavy mineral loam sampling techniques. Results from this program are expected shortly and will help to guide a reconnaissance reverse circulation drilling campaign to commence after the completion of the ABN21 program. The program is being carried out under the terms of an Exploration Agreement with Rio Tinto Exploration Limited. Further Information: Phil Harman, Managing Director, Gravity Diamonds Ltd.
