25/9/2013 14:53 | If your into charts Graphite has just broken out of its trading range that it has been in since April so i'm now expecting this to move higher over the coming months. ( Famous last words ) | killing_time
25/9/2013 14:43 | KT ok.seen buy note today ,got no link to post .but seen 580 target | jaws6
25/9/2013 14:36 | Thanks jaws6, I did see that but i couldn't find anything about future dividends so i'm guessing that they are keeping it at 5.0p. Even if they didn't want to commit to future higher dividends, with the money they have been making this year a special dividend would have been nice. KT. | killing_time
25/9/2013 14:03 | divi talked at last 5 DIVIDENDS Half year to Half year Year to 31 July to 31 January 2013 31 July 2012 2013 GBP'000 GBP'000 GBP'000 -------------------- Half year to 31 July 2013: 5.0p per share (Half year to 31 July 2012 and year to 31 January 2013: 5.0p per share) 3,646 3,646 3,646 ---------- -------------- ------------ | jaws6
25/9/2013 13:47 | Good results with the NAV now up to 682.3p. Couldn't see anywhere in the results about the dividend so i will guess that they kept it the same which is a shame. Clearly they are going for growth over income which to be fair to them is working. | killing_time
25/9/2013 08:24 | At least a 10 bagger for my daughter now, though she doesn't know she owns shares in this company and hasn't a clue about finance. Just as well or she'd want to spend it ! | corrientes
12/8/2013 09:26 | Pleased to see this stock moving up. It seems to be much undervalued. Perhaps a dividend hike would bring a better rating. | iomhere
09/8/2013 08:40 | yeap plus result on 25 sept with some money to come back hopefully. | jaws6
08/8/2013 11:09 | Yep, another nice sale which increases the NAV to 638.5p. | killing_time
07/6/2013 14:15 | Thanks 18BT, I was unaware of that bit of news. Edit: Taken from Daily Mail on 8/6/13 Shares in private equity-backed life insurer Partnership Assurance Group rose 17% above the listing price as the firm made its debut. Partnership provides insurance for long term care for the elderly and annuities for people with medical conditions. The offer was priced at 385p, at the upper end of its original 325p to 400p price range. Shares closed their maiden session at 450p. Cinven, the majority owner, bought the firm in 2008 for £158m and has made a return of more than seven times its investment. | killing_time
07/6/2013 10:26 | Just topped up a little here. Expecting an announcement on the positive valuation impact of the IPO of Partnership Assurance which has been priced this morning and was GPE's 20th largest investment. The Cinven 4th fund has sold down 25%+ into the market and the company is eligible for inclusion in the FTSE250 from September. | 18bt
29/5/2013 17:10 | A nice bit of business. Graphite Capital Partners VI has sold its investment in Dominion Gas, the Aberdeen-based oilfield services company. Dominion was Graphite Enterprise Trust's 11th largest underlying investment at 31 January. Graphite VI, which is managed by Graphite Capital, sold Dominion to Praxair, the New York-listed industrial gases group, having backed the management buy-out in May 2007. The exit price represents an uplift of 44% to the carrying value of the investment at 31 January. Graphite Enterprise Trust says that taken in isolation, the effect is to increase the company's net asset value per share by 3.3p to 634.7p, or by 0.5% compared with that at 31 January. Graphite Enterprise Trust expects to receive a distribution in excess of £7 million from Graphite VI in the next few weeks. I would like to think that a special dividend might be on its way but thats probably wishful thinking. Edit; I assume it was a good bit of business as i do not know how much they payed for there stake in 2007. | killing_time

UK 48.7% Europe 39.3% North America 11.2% Rest of the World 0.8% One of the biggest factors in the movement of the NAV is the value of the Pound v Euro. 30/3/2013 19:53 | discount to NAV narrowed considerably in year to 31.1.13 but perhaps it was far too high at end of previous year . | arja

26/2/2013 10:29 | As we have seen the NAV jump about alot recently SKYSHIP on his Private Equity thread quite rightly pointed out that this is mainly down to currency movements. So below i have listed Graphite's currency exposure. Currency Exposure on 31/July/2012 Sterling 51.2% Euro 32.6% Other 16.2% Portfolio - Geographical Distribution on 31/July/2012 UK 47.6% France 12.4% North America 10.6% Germany 8.4% Benelux 5.7% Spain 4.7% Scandinavia 2.6% Other Europe 5.5% Rest of the World 2.5% | killing_time
