Pillion,

I've just looked up the GPOR website.

The 3p dividend consisted of two parts. 1.8 was a 'Property Income Distribution (PID) dividend and the other 1.2p a 'non-PID' component. Seemingly the PID part is subject to a 20% withholding tax, ergo the 1.8p becomes 1.44 and our 3p dividend becomes 2.64p.

Rather complicated. No doubt because of GPOR's status as a REIT. Since I bought in as a recovery rather than an income share I can't really be bothered looking much further into it. However, it is something I'll bear in mind for future investments in property shares.

Best of luck
Nobby.

They must have messed up big time

I got exactly the same pay, then deduction, followed by same letter as you got

From Halifax of course

On Friday I was credited with dividend from LAND -- they deducted a different % from the dividend

Do you accept that 2.64 is the correct amount ?

The recent dividend

GPOR announced 3p per share dividend yet my online broker has only credited me 2.64p per share

Anyone else only get 2.64p per share

Investors Inteligence tipping this today

Great Portland Estates was one of the few property stocks to hit new 52-week highs yesterday. Technically, a break above 300p - an important resistance level, may set the stock up for a move to 400p (see right). Accumulate on a breakout.
