09/8/2017 18:33 | Hargreaves Hale also. It's been a good start to AIM so far with a 60k buy today and another blue finish. | battlebus2
08/8/2017 16:02 | Holdings are being announced (see header). There were some in the prospectus, but these are verified. Two significant names. I think Woodford will be in the list in due course. | jonwig

04/8/2017 13:12 | Margins pretty thin but acquisitive. | miti 1000
04/8/2017 12:22 | Yes, name invites a bit of jollity. EV/EBITDA looks around 7.3x, compare GTLY on about 11.5x. Will be debt free at launch, always a good sign. Small law firms tend to get stressed in recessions, so the consolidation approach might come in useful ... as long as GOR doesn't get too stressed, that is. It looks as though they do useful things - contract law, dispute resolution, etc. and have nothing to do with accident compensation or (horrors!) human rights chasing. | jonwig
04/8/2017 09:31 | Should be ok, as long as the management aren't partial to a few bottles of Gordon's Gin a week 🙄 | ny boy
04/8/2017 09:28 | Tell Gordon's Dad, I'm Smelgy's mum, I have expensive tastes though, I'm a Pizza Express type girl rather than Pizza Hut! | smelgys mum
04/8/2017 08:07 | Currently 145 - 150. | jonwig

03/8/2017 18:56 | Yes a few but I'll be adding in the morning. I think this is a long term winner but DYOR ETC. | battlebus2
03/8/2017 18:35 | bbus - did you hold WORK? That would be a head start! I'm actually more interested in how it measures up to Gateley, MCap of £180m (about £100m at float). I certainly won't chase this if it goes straight to a premium. | jonwig
03/8/2017 18:16 | Thanks Jon wig you beat me to it. I'm expecting big things from Gordon Dadds. They have an excellent future imv, I expect acquisitions to follow shortly. Their prospectus reads very well indeed so I hope to see a premium on the first days trading. | battlebus2
03/8/2017 17:23 | More details to come. RTO of Work group, dealings commence 4 August 2017. 140p. | jonwig
21/5/2003 00:58 | the euro £ is in its final stages of a double top end of month the euros going back where it came from | pmeas
21/5/2003 00:05 | Euro hasn,t got the staying power and the set up costs will take years before the euro is a safe forex, the US is behind its rise.Another month and im short the Euro against the dollar, one month before they get iraqs oil flowing, the euro its laughable all the bad performers will pull against the strong leaving it a neutral forex. | pmeas
20/5/2003 16:46 | Pmeas, Have a look at the picture at the top of the BTL thread, that's supposedly £80,000 worth of retail space, setup costs in France, Germany, let alone any of the Eastern European countries are nowhere near that. The UK's priced itself out of the market, simple as that, and the cost differentials and red tape involved with employment in the UK and mainland Europe are not as wide as they were. | trumpet
20/5/2003 11:49 | pmeas, now I know you've lost it. Buzz Lightyear comes from the Gamma Quadrant, not Planet Clare. I think you better go looking for LGMs. ;-) Since when did a fall in Sterling from 1.60 Euros to 1.40 Euros constitute a strong pound? | chaspebble
20/5/2003 11:22 | Planet Clare, with me old mate Buzz light year LOL.watch and learn,Scripophilist trust me. | pmeas
20/5/2003 11:12 | pmeas remind me which planet you are on? | scripophilist
