14/2/2020 01:15 | Still no accounts filed at Companies House by Ecotricity Group Ltd. The auditors are Grant Thornton who may be refusing to sign the accounts off based on the current GOOD share price and other concerns. Interesting that the GOOD price fell today. I am sure the Ecotricity stake is being touted around as being available to buy. Maybe GOOD should buy back the stake themselves. Meanwhile I'm waiting eagerly for the Ecotricity accounts to reach Companies House. They are always a interesting read for accounting geeks like me. | kinwah

The trend is driven, in part, by advances in technology, and the desire of residential and business consumers to reduce costs and/or their carbon emissions. But also, says Mr Sprintz, by major European energy suppliers trying to claw back market share lost to renewables and new markets entrants, such as smaller players including Good Energy and Ovo Energy. “Energy providers are looking at other things they can sell besides electricity, which has seen a large increase in capital in the market, as well as more mergers and acquisitions,” he adds. ... 24/1/2020 23:25 | The accounts for GOOD's major shareholder the formerly minibond financed Ecotricity Group Ltd are due to be filed at Companies House next week. The Ecotricity GOOD stake is now worth £10m which the Ecotricity balance sheet may find very helpful. After all there is that new football stadium to build for Forest Green Rovers which is also owned by Ecotricity. | kinwah
10/1/2020 17:48 | The key metric that encourages me to buy more is the high level of turnover per share. If they can improve financial management and stay on the right side of the regulator then the upside is immense. 07/1/2020 13:27 | Fresh price breakout 3 hours ago. Aside from the recent gain momentum I am in this because if they ever sort out the profit level and their returns to shareholders the imbalance between turnover per share and price per share is in for significant re_rating. | ben gunn
