What's the upside here?

This company has transformed itself in pretty short time.

The largest shareholder just so happens to be a vehicle for a Asian billionaire, not realized fully by 'the market' YET. It will happen no doubt.

With so few shares in free float this can only go one way, even on modest buying demand.

No wonder the directors are bagging as many shares as possible currently.

DYOR etc

I sold half at back then 9p. Bought back in at 5p back then. So now need 500p just to break even after consolidation.

If you held in 2008, presumably you made a killing in 2011 when you took some profits?

Bendigo was on-board 10 yrs ago. Gone
Randgold was on board. Gone
Stratex on board. Gone

Another Muppet on board. Will be gone in future.

Dilute rinse. Repeat. I need 500p just to break even. Holder from 2008.

Well done for trying romeike, he sounds very arrogant and deluded to me.

He probably thinks he is marvellous and can do no wrong, these types seem ten a penny in the city!

Stratex shareholders will have the last laugh when Stratex gets voted down in a couple of weeks. I wrote to him urging him to avoid humiliation and further damage to his reputation by resigning but he refused.

Apparently selling off assets for a fraction of their value and making extremely poor, shareholder value destroying mega deals is where it's at.

Actually they didn't let you buy that many today if you wanted to do, all I got was a quote for a grand, above went to NT. It's good if the shares are in sticky hands instead of flippers, which is not the case here.

I would not bet on it romeike!

"his track record of getting things done"

What a poorly worded uninspiring release, which could apply to my local butcher or paperboy!

One to avoid I feel!

Dilution yes, but I wouldn't call it huge dilution given the size of the company, nor unexpected, and it is in a good cause bringing in a major partner who will get the mine built as well as being a shareholder and Goldstone are putting in safeguards around governance. Sounds promising to me and looks like they are very much on track to getting a mine built in Ghana with a reliable partner.

Just my opinion, but I am confident the requisition shareholders will see Marcus removed as CEO of Stratex. Hopefully this will end Statex neglect of its holding in Goldstone and see it help with efforts to get a small but profitable mine built.

I see stratex holding reduced due to placing. Funny this is what happened to Bendigo mining when they held chunks of grl. Their holding was squeezed to zilch as grl issued more sgares. Repeat rinse and repeat.

Rubbish grades.

I wonder if Stratex might opt to offload their share for next to nothing to Paracle now. Sounds like the kind of deal they'd do. LOL.
