16/9/2018 20:48 | The valuation by VSA before WHI was 17p. If the eps this year turns out as the last WHI forecast predicts at 1.8p then 15p may well be achieveable. I suppose we will get a clue as to that in the next week or two. | kimboy2
15/9/2018 11:21 | The last price target was 15.3p in feb by wh ireland | sea7
15/9/2018 11:18 | wh ireland were approached in may to sell the broking arm, however, no one was willing to pay what they wanted - they aren't making much money out of it apparently... | sea7
15/9/2018 08:28 | One thing to watch for in the coming weeks is the WH Ireland forecast for the present year. At the moment they are forecasting an eps of 1.8p which equates to an attributable post tax profit of £3m. IMV if Kili breaks even then they will do that. They need to keep the plants fed though. Other things to look out for; 1. Stock dam - as discussed could be a cash injection greater than the present market cap 2. Kili jv - will they get someone to invest? The valuation of Kili may well be £8-10m. GDP are looking for an investment in Kili as well as some cash out 3. Mining venture - I think that that are looking for something with a total cost of £15m and a p/e of 2 once contructed. Can they finance? Well if the stock dam comes in, plus some cash from Kili, plus £3m profit pa from recovery Plus some loans they can. 4. Ghana clean up - it will be at Kyebi and could be anything. The Ghana government is under enormous pressure from artisanals but is taking ages. It may well need investment in a new CIL facility. | kimboy2

13/9/2018 19:22 | I would just let loony toons rodson, carry on chatting to himself and attempting to make it look like several different posters, by using different names, even though all of the posters are him. Better to quietly walk away, close the door and run, before it notices you have left and chases after you, whilst foaming at the mouth and throwing empty white lightning cans at you. | sea7
13/9/2018 17:55 | moron barking up the wrong tree as usual. | risa5
13/9/2018 13:52 | All immature posters now ignored GDP....I see no one wants this dog again lolololololololololo | 1rodson
13/9/2018 08:02 | I also notice that the rand price of gold is up 15% in the last 6 months which has got to be a major boost for the South African unit once we get the figures. | kimboy2
13/9/2018 08:00 | I suspect that they are pursuing a mining deal. It would seem likely that the actual deal will not involve the major expense. That will come once they build the processing unit which may be a couple of years down the line. Stockpiles are without doubt a good thing to do if they can get hold of the material. The recent stockpile in South Africa cost about £50/oz which would indicate a decent stockpile would not be hugely expensive. The Ghana clean up, like the pit for the stock dam, is in the hands of the government. This tends to take ages, and is already getting on for a years delay. Easy decisions can take a long time, difficult ones can take forever. If they can get a mining deal with all permissions in place then it is within their control. On the stock dam we have no real idea of the economics if they do it themselves or farm it out to DRD. The only information we have is the resource estimate 2.5 years ago and that conventional techniques would yield recovery of 15-20% of the gold. I have pencilled in 50% recovery and $700/oz profit, but it could be better or it could be worse. It would appear that nothing is in the present share price for it though so hopefully it will have a significant effect once announced. | kimboy2
