05/4/2018 10:41 | yes it will, as the company will not have to "pay" goldplat south africa, for the cost of using the benoni elution plant and then paying GPL for transfer to the refiner. They will elute on site in ghana and pay their own refiner costs. It will show up as a good improvement to the profitability of gold recovery ghana. Payback on the ghana elution column will be relatively quick. | sea7
05/4/2018 10:34 | On the tolling thing the RR contract produced 2,943 of au eq ozs. The revenue from tolling was £1.503m. Assuming all this was for RR this equates to a tolling revenue per oz of £510. During 2016 GDP produced 37,666 au eq ozs and the cost of sales was £17.177m which equates to a cost of £456/oz. That would suggest a profit of around £50/oz. However the marginal profit would be larger than this as the overheads were spread, so I suspect that £100/oz is about the mark for profit from tolling. Similarly the revenue received by Ghana from SA for concentrate appears to be about £497 in 2016 which equates to $736/oz. The benefit of moving these profits to a lower tax regime with no minority interest I reckon will be about £350k pa. | kimboy2
04/4/2018 07:22 | Presumably as GDP had to export their concentrate there are limited opportunities for elution in the country, or at least anything cost effective. The profit from elution seems to be about $100/oz. It is difficult to calculate any potential profit because obviously we don't know how much potential material there is, or the capacity of the elution column. The capacity is 3t but how much gold that is will depend on the grade that is eluted. Needless to say it will be incremental income to GDP. If I was to guess I would say about £200k, much the same as the shot blasting. | kimboy2
03/4/2018 10:00 | I await the next op. update. GDP have not delivered any decent figures yet. | russman
02/4/2018 21:25 | should this this take a really big dive this week or next as they get deeper into SA | 1rodson
02/4/2018 10:40 | look guys its stands to reason GOLDPLATT have fvcked up big time in AFRICA they have been pulling in new "experts" to join the team but still cant get an efficient company despite having Kimboy and S7 on board as perpetual rampers. and the best example of what a quack company this is must be the matter of the divi. A FAN FAIR ANNOUNCEMENT TO PAY A DIVI FOLLOWED BY A PROFIT WARNING...COME ON GUYS THIS IS AMATEURISM AT ITS BEST, g | 1rodson
02/4/2018 10:29 | rodson the liar is reading every post, otherwise the comment above would not even be there. | sea7
01/4/2018 23:06 | i have the two goons on filter and have done for all of this year. their record speaks for itself they are rampers liars frauds and cheats who will take you the cleaners if you let them as thats the only way they can make their money through conning novices and the unwary. I would love a face to face with they both but there are no guts between the both of them for that so they hide behind their key boards....bloody pathetic. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. | 1rodson
01/4/2018 18:36 | I doubt we will get an answer from the resident gimp- miller. | sea7
01/4/2018 16:26 | Well they are already buying plenty of material from South America. Not really sure how buying material will bust them, but hey ho. | kimboy2
01/4/2018 12:00 | rodson/miller says, you really have to laugh at this ongoing pathetic performance. I agree rodson/miller - lionsgold performance is awful, it must be horrible holding so many shares, whilst being underwater. I mean buying at over 6p per share and seeing them at 2.35p must be nerve wracking for you. Over 60% down at lion since you were bragging about buying at the high of 6.55p and completely directionless - still you could have bought goldplat, which is generating higher profits and is up over 300% from the lows. | sea7
01/4/2018 10:44 | you really have to laugh at this ongoing pathetic performance. The only two main posters here kimboy and s7 have been rampaging this dog for years and is keeps falling down . my prediction is that if they go ahead with the SOUTH AMERICAN madness IT COULD BUST 'EM GOOD AND PROPER LOOK NOW TO FURTHER share price FALLS | 1rodson
29/3/2018 16:51 | SEE THEY HAVE JUST CHANGED FROM ONE DEVIOUS ACCOMMODATION ADDRESS TO ANOTHER SOME HEAD OFFICE SOME COMPANY....CLOAKS AND DAGGERS. | 1rodson
29/3/2018 16:44 | Looks like the elution column is going to open up some toll-eluting opportunities at GRG. | sea7
29/3/2018 12:56 | NOT EVEN SOME HALF TIDY NEWS CAN GET THIS DOG TO BARK. AND WITH MASSIVE LOSSES WAITING FOR THEM IN S,AM lord knows they need it. Goldplat, the AIM quoted gold producer with international gold recovery operations based in South Africa and Ghana and a gold mine in Kenya, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Gold Recovery Ghana ('GRG') has completed the installation and commissioning of an elution plant and all associated ancillary equipment at its site in Tema, Ghana. | 1rodson
29/3/2018 11:40 | Interview with Gerard; | kimboy2
27/3/2018 08:48 | should be due for a commissioning rns from ghana at some point. | sea7
26/3/2018 19:30 | as per usual, rodson/millers comment is deranged and not worthy of a response. | sea7
26/3/2018 14:45 | There isn't really a 'they' as the ownership is basically PIs. It would need someone to come in with a takeover. | kimboy2
26/3/2018 14:41 | maybe they'll just take the company private. If the current share price is so disconnected from the future cashflow/profits. | dinky00 |
