Mistakes lies, false accounting, contract fiddles, tax problems, stealing other operators waste, poor management decisions. Lots of costs no explained, uncertainty over SA Germany etc......it's all adds up to a very poorerly run comapany and above all unaccountable inventory loses.

Not a sound enough company for me to put my money I am glad to have got out at 11p

they paid a divi and it fell below 2p

so earnings per share will likely be c3p this year but you think the share price will drop to 2p - lol.

given that last RNS and with nothing else to support the share price it could fall badly from here on in. In fact without new support 2p could be possible...better value elsewhere best sell and find it.

I guess this is one reason why the share price keeps falling keeping proper records is an endemic problem with GDP that's why they have run into so many VAT and general tax problems not to mention problems with their poorly written up contracts which seem to imply 2+2 = 7.

Best avoided until they learn to count if that's possible.

Also as S7 and KIMBOY are not free thinking persons no I will rephrase that, not thinking persons, hanging on as they do to each word the company tells them to do you all be wise to ignore their calculations as well.

the production figures never entirely add up quarter to quarter with full year - they are always an estimate to some extent and get revised slightly. I view GDP production like it's namesake GDP (Gross Domestic Product) always subject to small revisions as better estimates come in!

Cannot even account for gold sales correctly.

Yes I thought that except it doesn't quite add up.

It may be just a timing issue as there is quite a bit of gold going out each week, if not each day.

The important figure is production, not when they sell it though.

re: figure mis-statement I reckon in Q1 they included the 1376oz of gold transfers in the sales figure as well by mistake.

Doesn't impact the production figures though which were correctly stated.

yep, I suspect any business they do in the future will have some additional checks in place.

I always though that the RR dispute would cost RR far more than the original sum. No idea what it has cost GDP, though I feel in the long term it will be beneficial as they have brought processes in house.

The benefit from a resolution will be a shorter pipeline for material they can process, and consequent cash flow benefit.

In addition it may be that RR could be the source of material in the future, though hopefully with a 'trust and verify' outlook.

No matter how much they ramp this dead duck it just can't hold on to its gains
Looks like a strong case for losing your money.

Best be avoided Although could be a good punt around 2p

the only other thing is that they mis-stated a figure earlier...

*the H1 sales number includes Goldplat Recovery gold sales of 7,781 oz for the first quarter. The Company's announcement of 24 October 2017 incorrectly stated this amount as 9,170.oz (285kg).
