26/10/2017 09:26 | Yes Kimboy as soon as the doubters and old shareholders come back in, then the share will move but:Sorry to say RR issues is the thing that is holding it back | shareholder7
26/10/2017 09:16 | GDP seems to be in a bit of a sweet spot operationally atm, and is I believe the cheapest since I started investing in the company. The interims last year produced an attributable profit to GDP of £742k and that included a £712k loss at Kili. We know that Kili is now profitable, and the expectation that this will be increasingly so before Christmas. That would lead to an interim profit of around £1.5m and a p/e on the interim figures of something like 7. The second half should be stronger still because of the new elution column in Ghana as well as a full half of optimised Kili. This would suggest we are on a forward p/e of around 3. That seems cheap for a company with net cash, a large inventory of gold, steady profits and cash flow and increasing profitability. I would say that though. | kimboy2
26/10/2017 06:36 | There were talks about launching a brand new website at the AGM. Perhaps we will get a lot more pics and more info next year. | pog1234
25/10/2017 22:22 | yes, nice to see the have added some new pics. | sea7
25/10/2017 18:07 | Some new photos on the website. GDP will never win a prize for aesthetics but the photos of the pit and stock dam are interesting. It is a pity they don't tell us what the various heaps are. | kimboy2
25/10/2017 12:56 | Where is the cash going.Kili will be breakeven.RR dispute will be resolved quickly.Latin America is a high grade source.Tailings dam is going to be easy. | russman
25/10/2017 11:22 | The part about 250k a quarter in concentrates in kenya, which was only being realised once a year and is now permitted quarterly is good news. | sea7
25/10/2017 11:07 | Ahh tks kb, I will take a look. | sea7
25/10/2017 10:54 | Very positive interview on proactive. Confirmed they put through a lower grade batch of South American material through Ghana, but the profit was still good because of price they paid. The pilot plant is 3tph pilot plant. | kimboy2
25/10/2017 07:55 | That is certainly true. | kimboy2
25/10/2017 07:43 | It is worth remembering KB, that back in 2013 when GRG was running with three Cash generating units, they posted 8,821 oz produced in H1 2013. The tolling accounted for 55%, CIL 35% and incinerator section 10%. On an annualised basis, this meant that the incinerator section was producing 1642 oz. Since then, as we know they lost 90% of the business at GRG for one reason or another and Gerard, since taking over has been cleaning up this mess and re-building the business. All that was left was the 10% incinerator section. In Q1 2018 they produced 1190 oz. This is almost as much as they were doing in a year in the incinerator section four years ago. They are running lower grades as well. "A third fluidised bed incinerator has been purchased to assist with the increased lower grade material available from clients. This is being shipped to GRG" ....... This says to me that the reason for running at capacity, yet low output, is due to the company choosing to push through some lower grade stuff they have on site. I think they are doing well, considering the mess they were left with. | sea7
24/10/2017 23:48 | There is a presentation on the website. Not a lot new in it though is does say that GRG was operating at capacity. This is interesting given the relatively low output. Presumably the grades were lower, though that doesn't necessarily mean that profitability is reduced. Unfortunately they don't give numbers on operating profit any more so we won't know. | kimboy2
24/10/2017 23:20 | The main thing to me it looks like something that could be executed relatively quickly if the button is pushed. | kimboy2
24/10/2017 21:04 | but you just can't help acknowledging posts, can you? I don't see any ignorant comments here only yours when put on a spot> Grow up S7. | 1rodson
24/10/2017 21:00 | Thankfully I have my limits and have that cretin miller/rodson on filter, so I do not have to suffer his ignorant comments. | sea7
24/10/2017 20:59 | The problem we all have with Goldplat is that they are unreliable and noncredible not to be trusted. Market confident in the management is still low. The RNS today should have seen the share price put on far more than it did. | 1rodson
24/10/2017 20:57 | I thought these BBs were for discussion Sadly they seem to be confined to the domain of the rampers who find difficulty in answering questions that they cant squeeze answer for out of the company. It is easy to deduce that the management of GDP must spend a fair bit of time answering emails from S7 and KB2. I note that when that evil, vile little sprog KB2 cant get his wat these BBs become pointless and useless | 1rodson
24/10/2017 20:31 | yep wigwammer, It does make me wonder why some alleged investors, post questions about a company on a public bulletin board, when they would be more likely to get a credible response from someone at the company. Then again, Gerard has already indicated on several occasions what the loan and facilities are for and the published accounts are there for anyone to read, so it begs the question, why does russman post questions on this board, that he should already know the answers to, if he is a shareholder as he claims to be. To lazy to carry out the necessary research. | sea7
24/10/2017 19:53 | Or the self confidence to send his questions to management? He is a useful contrarian indicator though. | wigwammer
24/10/2017 19:36 | Why are you incapable of answering those questions yourself. Why are you referring to a loan that doesn't exist. Goldplat have a loan, however, there is no scorpion loan. Why are you incapable of making an intelligent and coherent post, that sums up your views and conclusions in detail, instead of your infantile tweet style posts. Why do you lack the intelligence to go into detail about any part of this companys operations. | sea7
24/10/2017 19:07 | Why do gdp need over 6m Aurumet discount facility. Why do gdp need the scorpion loan. If gdp had some positive cashflow....... | russman
24/10/2017 19:07 | The ASM sector in Ghana is huge and has been going on for a long time. There are a lot of sites to choose from. Gerard will no doubt choose a site for the mobile unit that is central to a significant number of sites, to provide maximum feedstock with the shortest distances. | sea7
24/10/2017 18:10 | Presumably that there are literally hundreds of sites to pick from. It seems that mine tailings sites are the worst polluters, and probably the easiest to process. Mercury should be susceptible to a concentrator as is gold, not sure about cyanide. I think a 20-30tph machine will cost £100k. | kimboy2 |
