From what I understand of the situation, rand have extended the payment terms, which makes the route to payment effectively the same as sending to aurubis.

This indicates to me, that rand have purposely delayed payments to goldplat by an additional set timeframe for reasons that we do not have answers to.

It could be malevolence towards GDP, although that would make it personal and not in line with their standard policies regarding t and c's

It could simply be that they are, as you say trying to create a bit of space for themselves to ameliorate cashflow.

Rand have been undergoing a 5 year upgrade, they have had several senior personnel leave and may have over extended themselves. Their shareholders are dealing with strikes and significant debt themselves.

Rand have always been fairly complacent in the way they act, due to their position as a major player in the bullion space. The loan to rand by its shareholders is unlikely to be repaid and seeing the only lbma refinery on the continent collapse, causing all of its shareholders to have significant issues, was not likely to happen.

They are not out of the woods yet. Rand maybe applying the screws to a lot of the smaller players locally as well. They have been going for a more international focus themselves, so Goldplat is at the bottom of their priority list.

RussNo way, Sea7 is in a different league to the Rottweiler KB2, S7 is balanced, respectful of other people's views, a far better researcher, would go so far as the best I have met on here, and has the ability to see both sides without distorting the facts. The Rottweiler on the other hand is not in the real world, if you can't pin a number to it then it's meaningless and "does not compute".....has all the opposite traits to S7 and is more like the Miller - check its postings, constant repetition, not accepting of any other possibilities even when presented with facts, etc, etc,DD

While I am wittering on to myself I was wondering whether the change in the T&Cs from RR was due to malevolence to GDP or not. Perhaps the change and the case against GDP have a common cause - cash flow problems.

The losses would appear to be bigger than when they lost a couple of tonnes of gold. Then they were bailed out by a billion rand loan. No sign of that this time.

Unlikely russman. The same could be said for you and miller, however, without any proof it would be an empty suggestion, which coincidentally is what your suggestion is... empty.

If you are so sure that I and KB are one in the same, then post up your evidenciary ammunition or accept the fact that you are no better than miller, posting up baseless assumptions.

I would be interested to know what 'facts' I haven't accepted. I suspect that your definition of a fact is somewhat looser than mine.

Could GDP have it? they are great at knocking other people's stuff as RRR will attest to!

"However if you do come up with tripe about GDP I will correct it."It's not tripe, it's facts or opinions that you are unwilling to accept. Not just me either, any poster.............paid rampers job and take my hate off you do it well, perhaps too well though. Now I have had enough, will not allow you to drive me if this thread, so the filter will be staying on this time.Sorry other posters on here.DD

Didn't think that being a paid ramper was worth responding to. Still don't.

I am sure you didn't erase the preceding sentence because it contradicted the inference you were trying to put on the rest of the quote. Why would I think such a thing?

As for similarities with 'Dirt Bag Dan' well people can make their own judgements.

As for not listening I think what you find irritating is that I do listen and counter, and that is what you find a problem. ISTR you insisting that RR was not in financial trouble despite the fact I had shown it was technically insolvent.

That took the biscuit a bit IMV. Have you seen the latest financial information I have posted on the grown up thread regarding RR. RR is in turmoil.

Anyway I am not going to chase you round the boards as I have better things to do. However if you do come up with tripe about GDP I will correct it.
