Its a shame that GOO got kicked in the goolies because compared to a couple of years ago it is now an extremely good investment IMHO. Rudolf is confident of the Nancy extension but has wisely discounted it at the moment. Z34 should come good in the end and is carried. Phoenix would be a good name for GOO as it rises from the ashes.

Hi , am a shareholder here but have not had sight of the annual report yet. Saw that we made a loss of £9.47m till Dec 12. Could I ask where this leaves us in terms of current debt - after the money from Z34? and with the production at NBM do we know if we are now covering our day to day costs or not? Thanks in advance.

Its going to take some time, to get confidence back, but well done to Rudolf for getting this company back on track and to those shareholders, who fought tooth and nail to save the company from the dark forces. Rodders

The City do not trust them based on past performance. RB will show them! It is about the future now and not the awful mismanaged past.

The low share price is putting investors off? I hold a few Tower Res who are valued more than Gold O and produce nothing let alone possible 1000bpd, but are carried for a big prospect much like this co.

I can see a name change coming. Maybe a proposal at AGM? RB said GOO was a dirty word in Colombia after the way the old lot behaved. Hope not Blitzen but something more acceptable to the great and good down that way. He has enough shares and muscle to do it now; plus the money the co is going to make in the next year. It looks like a very much better one to come than we have experienced over the last twelve months..

Nicos. No, a few miles away. Just impressed from my visit there and lack of imagination on my part for any other name.

nlm. Those figures come from RB not me, however your figures are impressive enough for a minnow like GOO. I think Investors would be well happy if the current wells delivered somewhere around 1,000bopd, low capital expenditure for a very healthy return starting in the near term. They operate the block so no waiting for anyone else.

Pem For a $100 barrel we pay 20 percent corp tax. So that brings the price dow to $80. We then pay 41 percent to ecopetrol (i think its ecoptrol without looking it up) That leaves about $47 to goo. So as you say goo are generating more than i suggested. I have taken $2 off to reflect the current oil price of about $96 And $10 for production costs. So if you take the figure before production costs its about $45 per barrel which then equates to $18.56 million (on 1130 bopd) Nlmbidc

nlm. The Burdine work programme is in progress at the moment on various wells. I have heard a range GOO are generating $8-12m (from last GM) on current production av. of 500bopd so think you are low on that. Take the average and 1,000bopd so about c.$20m pa and oil price on the up.

1130 bopd @ $35 per barrel is almost $14.5 milion a year, which is roughly the anount of income goo will make after royalties, tax and production costs. A very good step in the right direction. There is no precise timetable mentioned but much of the work is already in progress. Nlmbidc

Good man Bletchley..if you are male of course. Did you read the FT supplement on Colombia last week. FT seems to think there is a bit of a future down south of the border and I think RB does also. His other co Andes Energia took a full page ad in the mag. Time is all..RB is getting on with it. Another RNS coincidental with AGM? It may state what he has been up to in Bogota in the last few days and intervening period before returning to London for said event? Trade on Plus markets..just the one.
