If we have upped production at nbm by 50 percent and extended the nbm license for another 10 years and announce plans to drill nancy 2 you will.

Gary Moore put together an excellent set of assets but was reluctant to spend the cash to develop them.

MP tidied up the paperwork before handing over to a management team who were keen to spend our cash.

We still have interest in all of the assets and a CEO who has reduced costs, made rapid progress to date, knows what he is doing and is as keen as the rest of us to see the company grow.

It's only a matter of time.

Z34 didnt live up to the hype, but we now have sufficient funds to grow organically following the deal with UOG.

Now we can grow the company from the ground up.

Solid growth with goo from now on would be wonderful.

Yes the biggest damp squid you could imagine on Z34, amazing.
Still we should get a good update at the AGM, including nancy figures.
Hopefully Rudolf has lots of great news for us (and himself as he invested his own hard earned cash also).
Can't be any leaks either way as no sellouts or buying frenzy.

Poor old CS, he said he wouldn't post again until Goo were 2.5p, at this rate that could be a long wait.

Lets hope NBM can have a fraction of the Amerisur Platinillo field success in the same basin as Gold Oil in Colombia. Correct me if i'm wrong but that field was producing 150bopd a few years back and Amer have invested in the block since taking 100% and now produce over 7,000bopd!
That field has been the making of Amerisur now valued at 530m v Gold Oil about 17m.

chitty, we were all disappointed about the lack of interest in Z34 but that doesn't detract from the fact that this company is in the best position that it has ever been in. It is extremely undervalued considering what has been achieved since we came out of suspension.

I will be glad when the December 2012 results are out of the way so that we can draw a line on the past and start moving forward. RB is the man to do that for us.

Good morning G, I do not know what the agenda would be, I do know like the market knows that the Z34 deal is not as good as we, or most of us would of liked certainly looking at the share price. That's why I for sure invested many years ago because of the tremendous uplift I expected from Z34, now I am hanging in there hoping I will get some of my investment back, but I have to say I wish I had your optimism Guardian.

Here's hoping you are right.

Petecb1,

That depends on who a prospective buyer may be.

If it was a major looking for the Z34 assets I would agree that this would be during the farm-out process. But if its for immediate income for a smaller player, then NBM would tick all the boxes along with a company that is now lean and mean with no immediate future liabilities.

If someone was on the prowl for a buyout, surely they would have done it during the farmout process

I reckon he would have to buy at least 300 million shares to even match the founder members alone. Then he would have to buy even more to command a majority. Then he would still have to face the PIs who stood up to be counted at the last attempt.

Not easy to get one over on us after last time. NEVER AGAIN!

Like who?

Our major shareholders (excluding you know who) are protecting us from a cheap buyout or unwanted interference in the operation of the company. I trust them and have no worries on that score.

Got to be in their thoughts. That would give Gold Oil nearly $30m per year in revenue from NBM!, which is more than the current mcap of the company.

A 10 year extension to the nbm license would secure our future production to 2025.

That alone should secure a higher share price

Then we can justify nancy 2 etc at nbm.

Maybe i'm getting ahead of myself again.....
