There is a Colombia colour supplement in the FT today. Amerisur took a half page ad to tell the world what they're doing there and their contribution to the economy. RB's Andes Energia took a full page 'With confidence in South America and COLOMBIA' Not GOO but the association is there. President Santos of Colombia comes to the UK on a state visit next week.

100% sure, they have issued Goo the $2m cash ages ago and are carried for the next $10m of development. Vale are very active in the Sechura area operationally so not sure where they are with xxi?. i think they applied for seismic permits in dec 2012 which seems strange if they are still waiting given they have drilled twice on the block! The farmout was Jan 2011!

What we need is new drilling commitments in somewhere such as xx1 alongside increased production from NBM. That would give the so a nice boost! Nlmbidc

What's important is what has been achieved since December 31st. I think RB has built a much more solid base for the future. Cleared debt, cash in bank (with more to come), farmed out key asset with decent carry, reduced G & A by 65%, taken 100% of NBM production/ exploration. Agree TG it's what is now and plans for the future i'm keen to hear about.

Results to the end of December won't paint a pretty picture. It's what gets tagged onto the end that will be important.

These are JV's with Perupetro graham, if a discovery is made they will acquire up to 25% interest. Not sure where abouts these offshore blocks are as thought most had gone certainly the case in the north where Goo are if you look at the map. full article uk.advfn.com/news/DJN/2013/article/57804118

Still makes you wonder why exon and the likes weren't interested in a ready made plot with a head start seismic done ?

http://www.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20130531-708078.html See what this brings in. Some big names there. Investment offshore about $2bn in the last few years. 'It expects investment in offshore concessions to double in the next five years'. (full article)

As with many other shares, the lack of volume is the killer and the MM's are working the fear button. Q.

I would give it a couple of weeks yet. I just hope that it gives an indication of our current position as well as what we were left with by the previous management. Using that word in its loosest form of course. Anyway, sunny days are not to be wasted. Off to the Dales.

Hard to believe they have farmed out Z34 after years of trying and taken 100% of their oil producing asset NBM and still sat under 2p.
