We are carried nicely now on 2 projects for the foreseeable future. We need Nancy to come good to sustain cash positive future. The money obtained from the farm-out is relatively low , so where is the money for our expansion to come from ? The future scenarios are IMHO 1) Wait for oil to be found (1 to 3 years) 2) sell out 3) gain more interests for which more investment is needed Its not gloomy as the carried assets are potential gold mines , but I do wonder where to from now ? any thoughts folks ?

Someone is dumping. That's 2 x 500k sells reported on LSE and another 2 x 500k reported on ISDX. The good thing is that someone must be buying them.

If and when z34 becomes compelling there will be a queue of suitors wanting a slice of the action. Will that day come? It will if the neighbouring block start producing and further seismic on z34 shows good signs. Nlmbidc

If things play out in the area then perhaps seismic and a two well carry?, not to say UOG will hold onto 80% into the second /third phases that's up to them but if that is the scenario it will be a good fair carry for Gold Oil. UOG have made it clear if you read jt's post earlier that they have 'substantial resources' available to them.

Many thanks for that Pembury - so that should add lots of value to the company as the costs of these phases may be $100m or so? - and a share price which should be well ahead of where it is now even before any oil is produced.

Randaman. Carried in the deal means that UOG will pay for the three remaining development phases of the contract which includes seismic and drilling + UOG will pay Gold Oil $6m in cash. Same applies onshore Peru where Gold Oil are carried by Mining giant Vale Brazil through seismic and drilling phases. So for Gold Oil they will not need to spend any money in developing the Peru assets for possibly the next 3 years+ as the CEO says in the RNS, freeing up resources to develop other interests.

don't post on here much but have been heavily invested here since prior to suspension. Can someone please clarify for me what 'carry' means ? Does the Z34 deal mean that we now just sit back and let Union do the drilling etc (if they deem it to be worth it after testing etc) and hopefully if they eventually strike oil that we are entitled to 20pc of it with no further cost to us? Many thanks in advance.

Pem/Joe/Nlm. totally agree, and the points made are the reason I am very comfortable with my holdings, and I am content with progress to date, and confident of the future.

I think all long termers can see where this company is going. Reduced running costs Reduced liabilities going forward. Increased income from production - 72 percent up since january. Plans to increase production in nbm by moving from long term test to higher production. Increase the length of the license on nbm. Z34 is largely off the radar whilst income is progressively increased. Don't believe me? Look at the share price No added value from the z34 farmout news!! Nlmbidc

jt. GOO have done 800 sq km of 3D so expect UOG may invest in a further 700 sq km to bring it inline with what Karoon have done on the block 'next door' at the same stage of exploration ie 1500 sq km of 3D. GOO also shot 2,000sg km of 2D and confirmed there are numerous other leads to be surveyed. Of course they also said they have drill ready targets from the first 800 sq km. Gold Oil are now carried onshore and offshore Peru for the foreseeable future by two partners with deep pockets.

What I did find reassuring was that he knew his beans and knew the details. I would have been concerned if he had no or little knowledge of what I was talking about.Z34 is definitely on their agenda and not on a back burner waiting for a further farm in partner.

Plenty of factor 50 TG!. HM. reading the CEO comments could they have this amount to invest? We don't know for sure. if that is available to the company to invest and 500bopd+ revenue then should be in a position to build on, oil is nearing $100 also.

Joe. Agree with TG. A good try, but if you don't ask, you never know what they might let slip out. Pem. I wonder if some of it will go to pay off the Chinese? But hopefully we should have some left over.

Hugo, having been rig security I know that the guys with all the info is the logistics guy and the JM guy but I couldn't find out who they were ha ha. Pem, without having asked that question direct he did say that they had bought Plectrum and were awaiting approval of the further 30%. I'm assuming that the $4mil is in the bank. TG, you know me. I have been known to be trying ha ha. P.S. get outta here and enjoy your holiday.

Joe. "Investor Relations / Customer Relations" go to great expense to train their employees how to remain courteous, appear to be helpful, yet say nothing. Maybe if you could find the contact details for "Storeman Joe"? That might yeild a lot more. But at the end of the day, you don't spend 6 million, NOT to drill for oil. So I would say their intention was to drill a hundred wells, providing they strike oil, of course.

Ok. I've just spoken to UG investor relations. There wasn't much to glean from them but here goes for what it's worth. Q. Where are you currently exploring for oil? A. Uruguay, Paraguay and now offshore Peru. Q. How aggressive is aggressive? A. Our geology team is on task now looking to take up where Gold Oil left off. Q. Does the contract include any drills? A. We have the option to complete either siesmic or drills. Q. Are you going to drill? A. Our geologists will determine that. Q. When will your geologists determine that? A. That is something that can't be answered until the geologists have completed their current work. Q. Will anything be done this year? A. We haven't made a decision on that yet. Q. Next year? A. We haven't made a decision on that. Q. Are you seeking to farm out part of your 80%? A. A decision hasn't been made on that. We are a junior O&G company but we are part of a company with substantial resources. Q. If a decision is made to drill will you have the finances to go it alone? A. We are part of a company that has substantial resources. Q. Are you going to drill? A. The decision on that will be made by our geologists. The investor relations guy then suggested that as an investor in Gold Oil I should refer my questions to them. One thing that I do find confusing is that UOG would have had full access to the data rooms where their geo's would have done their due diligence so why no decision to drill?????? Or are they just being guarded with info ????
