trt - bought mid-morning at 1352 (1373 including tax etc). So I am well happy!

GOG was unbelieveably cheap this morning at £13.14 ( took advantage ) and still is now at £13.70. In fact if you do the maths they were still cheap at £15.85 on Monday !!!

I see this situation as a fantastic opportunity. Stocks are being sold across the board without in many cases due consideration to the fundamentals.This is where I can pick up shares that have dropped in price quite a bit and when the bounce comes at some point( and it will it always does )I will be quids in. With some shares I will pick up huge dividends along the way.
As we all know patience and keeping a cool head is everything when investing in todays market

In my experience for many investors its impossible to get in right at the very bottom and impossible to get out right at the very top.I read an article during the 90's and again during the height of the recession back in 2008/2009 which said - to maximise profit when all around you are selling BUY and when all around you are buying SELL.

That advice has served me very well indeed over the years.

Although I have to say I have never sold any GOG shares even when they were £26 the yield ( dividend ) is so fantastic it pays for the holidays each year

A very timely purchase yesterday as the share price is desperate to burst through the £16 level

GOG is a great defensive share and growth play:
- Final results will now smash market estimates come the 1st Sept
- Possible contract win ( Greater Anglia ) come Oct
- Yield of over 6%
