Just coming up for another attempt at the 50MA (1175.35). If close above that then maybe can go forward to 1300ish in the runup to the Full Year Results (2 September). free stock charts from www.advfn.com

JP Morgan have said - we believe this is reflected in current valuations, which we view as cheap." Bus operators could compensate for the loss of the fuel subsidy by reducing services and hiking fares by around 7%. Analysts at JP Morgan Cazenove say it is more likely that the grant will be frozen. Looking at the share price graph - I have topped up this morning.

Good luck guys ... until the government firms up plans on the abolition of Bus Service Operators Grant fuel rebate I am staying out the sector. A report says it will cost Go-Ahead, National Express, Stagecoach and First combined a total of over £200m pa http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/jul/25/bus-companies-fuel-subsidy

Just poking over the 50MA (1201.4) and today's high is at the early June support level (1207). I suppose we wait for Wall Street to see if up or down from here. free stock charts from www.advfn.com

trt - as of now it looks like IC have got it wrong. On the subject of financial magazines, Moneyweek tipped sell Aggreko at 1100 or so it recently made 1700!

trt - GOG has had a good run since 1048p. I think enami predicted a target of 1218p, we'll see who's right - IC and Bunnji or enami!

Hi Enami, you were right about the 1048 resistance. There has been a good rise since then. You'll need to tell me how you do that some time!!!!

looks like a nice yield but in the current market it doesnt count for much. I bought FCAM, foreign and colonial asset management, a fund manager with £100 bn of funds under management at 60p as they were yielding 10% the share price today is 51.5 p giving a 11.7% yield! Analysts...for what they are worth are not expecting a divi cut so go figure! I will continue to watch GOG but it seems entirely possible that this will go to the low 900s before getting support.
